A little store on the north side of Madison with a lot of character. The employees make a real effort to get to know the customers and help them in any way possible. The best part is the kittens in the store are not kept in cages but roam the store.

I've always enjoyed my experiences at Noah's Ark. The staff are knowlegeable, they have the best dog groomer around, and they have free-roaming cats and kittens in the store, which means my kids could stay occupied while I shopped. Not as big and fancy as some of the pet stores, but at least you can get help at Noah's Ark.

I adore Noah's Ark Pet Center. I have been visiting here since I was a young girl. They have a unique way of socializing pets by allowing them to roam freely in the store. You can hold and cuddle any animal you please. We come in just to play with the animals. Best pet store in the USA and we have visited many others around the country. None of them compare to this one.

I got my hamster here, she is so sweet and hardly needed taming! The people who worked there said that they have their hamsters sent to a nice woman and her daughter who socialize the animals, and they end up being a lot nicer than a wholesale or big name petstore! She was the last of her litter and thus I think she may have been the runt; she was terrified of us for a while. But after just 2 weeks, she was comfortable enough to run around on a blanket and climb up our arms! Usually it takes a month or longer to tame a hamster. The store provides plenty of hamster supplies, her favorite hideaway was purchased here. The staff are very nice and helpful and will tell you everything you need to know; it seemed like there wasn't one question they couldn't answer... at Petsmart, i asked an employee for help finding a safe, dust-free sand for my hamster and he reccomended chinchilla dust. Luckily, I knew beforehand that chinchilla dust is awful for them and can kill them. But i wouldn't want anyone else to be mislead into the possible demise of a pet. So i would suggest they come here! Oh and the kitties roaming around are a bonus 😍 i havent met a kitty there who wasn't a loving, sweet fluffball.

If you know you are not a vet clinic, why would one of your employees tell us over the phone you are, set up an appointment, then close to the appointment tell us you aren't? I will not be coming here anytime in the near future, if at all. This has been a total waste of time.
