I absolutely love the views! And everything about Norris Dam State Park! Convenient access right off the Interstate 75 Exit 128. Parking throughout. Lenoir Museum features awesome antiques & history. The old water mill & thrashing barn are neat to see too. New restaurant & store has much to offer visitors & locals. Waking & hiking & biking trails. An orchard. The Dam is an awesome sight to see, with educational tours. Overlooks showing the lakes expansion & history is another exciting feature. Boating & fishing & camping; tents and or cabins, with playgrounds. A recreation center, tennis courts, swimming pool, and more! And more sights to see surrounding the area. I highly recommend this place!

Super quiet! Didn't see a soul but it was a winter Monday. The trails were clean and great for all age groups and endurance types as there were benches all along the trails.

The kids had a great time and learned a lot on this trip! Plenty of trails and places to explore. It makes for a great afternoon outing with possibilities of seeing deer and other wildlife around the dam. Be sure to check out the grist mill and Norris watershed if you go.

Cozy little cabins and wonderful trails to hike. Some of the trails are more strenuous than others, so bring good shoes and plenty of water and snacks. A really neat state park.
