I started using North Tyler vet when my vet was unable to come out to treat my horse's colic, even though they were on call for the night. I just went through the phone book trying to find someone to help with my horse. . DrWilliams came out even though we had never been to his clinic before. He treated my horse and he did well. I immediately transferred all of my vet to this clinic. I couldn't even tell you how many years we have been with them. They don't take appointments, which means you will probably have to wait a while to be seen. Some people don't like that. By not taking appointments it also means they don't say there are no appointments available for the day. The staff stays to care for all the animals that arrive before their cutoff time. This clinic is usually very busy. That alone speaks for how well the community loves them. Honest, compassionate care!

The only reason this place is getting one star is because that’s the lowest option. Y’all should really re evaluate your employees. My sister came in earlier today because her dog was very sick and not moving very much. She went inside and was trying to get someone to help her get her large dog inside. The front desk lady replied with”you have to wait your turn” so she asked again please help he’s very very ill. Again, “you have to wait your turn”. By the time she went back out to the car(her friend was in the car with the dog and air was on) the dog was breathing very heavily and then shortly stopped breathing. Now I have a very upset sister who has been crying because she just lost her lifelong friend/ fur baby, all because no one would help get the dog inside. So I will not refer you guys to anyone. Thanks for nothing but a dead dog and a very sad family.

Been seeing Dr. Marcus Alexander and staff for over 8 years. Surgeries, vaccinations, illnesses, injuries, single pets and now Rottweiler breeding stock. They can handle anything and have good common sense. Will price everything before it's done so you're not surprised at checkout. The only vet I know of where your pet will be seen FOR SURE the same day without going to the high-priced Animal ER Clinic. They serve the community well.

You're seen in the order you come in so you may have a wait, but I have no complaints about the care received. And they'll tell you the cost up front so you don't get sticker shock when checking out.
