I absolutely love working here. I have been an aide for 10 years and this is by far the best facility that I have ever worked at.  The other aids and nurses are amazing!  They also have the best physical and occupational therapy around, I have heard nothing but good things from my patients about the therapy department.

I have had many clients over the past year (2017) who have gone to rehab at Oaklawn so I have a unique opportunity to provide a review that is based on many various families experiences. This gives this review a benefit to readers that others may not offer. Keep in mind some reviews that are negative on here are not providing supportive explanations as to why. Every facility Everywhere will have issues and will drop the ball and the difference is what the leadership doesn't to correct it that makes the difference. 

Their Social Workers, Tanita & Julie are fabulous. Communication is key and they are on it. They connect residents with resources to ensure they have the support they need for a safe discharge. They provide education and support for families to adjust to the changing needs and at times loss of independence their loved one is experiencing. 

Their new administrator Michael has made such fabulous tweaks to the way they do things every time I visit with a client it keeps getting better and better.

The therapy team is  F A N T A S T I C !!! They motivate the unmotivated and help residents work through the pain and discomfort that regaining your independence and mobility brings with it. OT does so well with really identifying needs that residents have and communicates that with the SW so they can work to ensure creative ways to get those needs met.

This is a Social Worker's review of over 10yrs who had worked for other Rehabs, SNF, and Hospice to know how to accurately access their service quality.

My grandfather has been here for a while. Everyone there that cares for him gives him all the help he needs and everything! All of the employees there are fantastic and gives it their all. I've been to many health and rehab places in various capacities and this is by far the best I have been to.

My wife has stayed there twice after knee surgery.  The facility is wonderful and clean, and the staff is kind and competent.  The physical therapists are top-notch.  We would definitely use them again.

Why is this 2.5 ?  I am looking for a Facility for a knee replacement.. Thats a low score
