We attended Pomegranate days yesterday and had a 5star time. It was the best money ever spent for a whole afternoon of fun. We went for the camels... who were great ! But were surprised and delighted by the circus magic and juggling performers. The turkey stampede, though , was my favorite. I laughed until I cried. I’ve never seen anything more funny in all my life. You just have to see them !!!

What a great experience! the camels are very sweet, amazing to be that close to them, pet and feed them. The animal show was cute and funny. Bring cash it's much easier, it cost $10 per adult and $1 for one little slice of apple to feed to camels. A little steep for what you get but it goes to a good cause. The store is very small could be expanded a little and add more things. The camel milk soap is great, very moisturizing but the lotion burns the heck out of my face!? the honey scent is not pleasing cost $8 so try them before you buy! I did not as we were all packed in the store like sardines. . All in all a nice outing and something new to do.

Wonderful people and animals! The camels are just lovely. I absolutely adore Camelot (I know everyone does). The ranch is beautiful, and with so much room for the camels to enjoy being camels. My family just loves it!

I had the best time at Watermelon Days at the Oasis Camel Dairy. This is really a hidden gem in San Diego County (Ramona); great for both adults and kids (about 3 and up, I'd think). You can tell that its a small, family run operation right away. The staff is so friendly, down to earth, happy and clearly loves their job and loves the camels. The camels are obviously well taken care of; they are relaxed and so friendly. This place manages to fit so many activities into one day! Its small size makes it easy to see everything with minimal walking/time in between activities. The day is well schedules, on time and organized. I got to/did: -feed a camel a watermelon (free with admission of $15, parking is free and since the farm is small, the lot is close). -pet and hang out with the camels (they are so friendly) -take a selfie with them -ride a camel ($10 for a 3 minute ride but so much fun... they have the best awkward gate). Ask for Camelot... the Cadillac of Camels! -learn more fun facts about camels then I ever thought possible! -check out some turkeys (they race them at the SD County Fair) -watch the exotic bird show (the host is so entertaining and funny) -see a kid's magic show (it was interactive and the kids loved it) -participate in a watermelon spitting contest -feed sheep ($1) -test and purchase some camel milk lotion ($8 for 2oz), soap ($6 for 2.5oz) and lip balm ($4) (made with the milk from the dairy) -enjoy some freshly spun cotton candy ($3) and BBQ (you can bring in your own food) -check out the gift shop where you can buy everything from camel milk chocolate (imported from Dubai), t shirts, charms, magnets, stuffed toys and various other camel goodies! Most importantly, I fell in love with these camels! They were so fun! The only drawbacks are: it can be a bit tricky to spot off the highway, they are only open very specific days/times (and judging by how busy it was on a Friday, I imagine the weekend crowds are huge), they are not licensed to sell the camel milk. I can't wait to go back for Pomegranate Days and visit the camels!
