We love the Poway petco! The employees here are fantastic and very helpful. Each time we come into the store the employees let us check out the birds and the new reptiles.  They are also helpful picking out what dog food would be best for my 🐕!! Very happy this is my local pet store!

Customer service is ok sometimes they have someone on aqatics who knows nothing about the fish the leapord geckos are being abused by feeding them nothing to to much and letting crickets run around the cadged sucking juices from them look sick even my first one I bought from them had a untreatable disease stick tail they use sand as the substrate and that horrible it will clog there stomach until they die staff no nothing about reptiles and just lie chanelion habitats are not set up right most fish tanks are diseases and they don't treat it with there or products other then all that customer service is ok the register takes a long time I usually spend a  hour there on abraded as they are crazy slow!!! And fish die a lot

no complaints. they have everything a pet store should have. Only problem is the Padres gear is onily sold during the off season if at all any more. Got my dog food here, but unfortunately no Padres cap.

It's ok sometimes the service is terrible because someone whoudl be on aquatics and they don't know anything but other then that leapord geckos are being abused by putting sand and spiked plants in there tanks chameleon habitats are not set up correctly fish are not being treated with the right care they don't use there own products to medicate the fish and I looked on the back and they keep fresh shipped beta fish in a smal 1 inch packet filled with 1 cm of water but other then all that it's an ok store for supplies but can be pricy too

Great customer service and always well stocked. I would never use a petco for grooming or veterinary services though. Invest in your pets and don't just go the cheapest route...you do get what you pay for.
