Raptors are some of the worlds most incredible aerial predators. At PNWR we strive to learn as much as we can about them, and share that information with everyone we can. We hope this will help raise awareness of their importance and value in the environment, help to promote conservation, and ultimately help to preserve our natural wildlife!

Such a fabulous resource and fun place to go. From awareness days to hands on experiences, it's one of my favourite places. You can walk through the grounds and see many of the birds, but paying extra for the hands on experience is truly worth it. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring. You'll learn so much while having a great time. I highly recommend the Owl Evenings when they running - when else do you get to hold an owl and take one out flying. They also have a cute little gift store. In addition to having a great time, you are supporting rehabilitation and conservation efforts. The center is a must-go for both islanders and tourists.

We really liked this place. The staff were really good and the bird exhibits were outstanding. We got our daughter (11 years old) the encounter package ("Closest") where she got to hold various birds which was really interesting. Then we all had bought the Hawk Walk which was great, as you get to put on a big leather gauntlet and have a hawk fly and land on your hand. We really enjoyed this place and would recommend. The flying demonstration was really interesting with the various raptors flying very low over the spectators heads. Very cool.

phenomenal place. the flying demonstrations are the highlight. the center has an amazing variety of birds. the spaces are well designed and they have a ton of great information. the staff were great, awesome with the animals and exceptionally helpful.

This was on our list of attractions that were "go if we have time". I'm glad we had the time. They have several raptors on display, which gives you the opportunity to see them up close. The flying display was a joy to watch. These birds have such power and agility that is amazing to see up close. I would put this in the category of "must do" now that we have experienced it. The co-ordinates for a GPS or map program are: 48.82028 N, 123.66143 W (Decimal), --or-- 48° 49' 13.01" N 123° 39' 41.15" W (Degrees, Minutes, Seconds )

Awesome place. I had a ton of fun watching the raptors. They fly right over your head almost touching your hair!
