I have currently 2 cars now through Ocean Honda. This review is directed towards service. They treat you great if you are fully covered and like garbage if you are not. I have precious phone calls not returned, non-booked appointments that I had booked and most recently today was supposed to have had a precall on a loaner for a morning appointment. No call so I called this morning so I called and spoke with Chris. He said there was a short wait so I said I would send my wife down with my 6 year old son. The wait was over 2 hours to diagnose the ac leak. I received a quote for $720 to replace 2 hoses. And it would take a few weeks to get the parts. I was charged an $89 diagnosis fee. I informed Chris that I am able to wholesale cars agent so I can get the repair done at a much lower cost. I asked Chris to please show my wife the exact location of the leaks so that my wife can take a picture for me and he assured me that he would. So I get home and my wife lets me know that they were busy and they could not show me where it was leaking. I left to drive back to the dealership, which is a half hour away from my home, and was informed that the dealership was closed. The person answering the phone Brenda was extremely helpful and made mulitiple calls to try to help and even gave me a call back to offer me a loaner car for the weekend. She really seemed to care about me, the customer. I'm a retail manager for a major corporation and deal with service every day. I know that personal touch and effort goes a long way towards customer loyalty. I have not received that from some time from your service department which makes me not want to stay with your company in the future. I've had caring, positive experiences from Alphonse, AJ, my warranty person and everyone in the front office along with Tammy and Kristen. I may very likely take all my future service needs to Palm Harbor Honda. And possibly sales needs although that has not been my complaint.

Honda Santa Cruz makes me feel good,because I know they will take care of my car and myself!!! Honda is the best!! ROBERT is the best car sales person here!!

12/28/2016 Ocean Honda was a nice place to buy a new car. It took us about two hours to purchase exactly what we wanted for the price we expected. There were no attempts to sell us any product or service that we did not ask for. We knew the model of the car we wanted and it took about 5 minutes to locate it with the help of a very straight forward and friendly salesman. We wanted to talk about the price of the vehicle before we took a test drive and we were led directly to the manager. The negotiations process took about 10 minutes. We showed the manager a print out from the KBB with the fair market price for our chosen vehicle and asked for and received a modest discount. After a test drive we spend about an hour finalizing the deal while our new Honda was detailed and filled up with gas. We enjoyed complimentary sandwiches and were surprised with a gift of a set of jumper cables for the new car. We had only one able driver and two cars to drive, so our noble salesman graciously helped us to return our rental car to the agency. We were given a brief lesson on operating the new vehicle and provided an opportunity to ask questions. We appreciate the sales team of Ocean Honda, their friendly and helpful attitude, and, most of all, their straight forward approach and transparency of the transaction. It is likely that we payed more than a hard core negotiating pro would but I am sure we got a better deal than many unfortunate car buyers who are victims of unethical sales methods. Always too buisy and never have time to check out any of the problems I have with my car l. Every time I get a oil change i tell them to do the rest of the services check out some problems with my car but they say "sorry we only had time to change your oil and we didn't get a chance to look at the problems with your vehicle " horrible service ! They need to hire more staff or something but it's just not acceptable for them to do that every time.

I had the same problem with this dealership. They told me they could get me a car at the price I gave them. We emailed and talked on the phone and he agreed to meeting me at the price I agreed on. I drove 100 miles and when I arrived they wanted to sell me the car at a much much higher price. Wasted 3 hours. This is unprofessional, dishonest Liers. Bunch of rats. I would not trust them ever. If you do you will find out for your self. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
