Very cute! Great variety of trucks (about 6-10 total) and a good location. You can snag lunch then go bowling, shopping or take it down to the beach and enjoy the water front. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Great way to get out of the house instead of usual dinner and enjoy some good food trucks! Be sure to check their website ahead of time to see which trucks will be participating. It will save you time trying to figure out what you might want to give a try. We came early after work to make sure we could find a parking spot, which was easy. There were about 6-7 food trucks lined up right in front of city hall. A few tables and chairs are set up but usually fill up quick. Seen quite a few people who brought their pups! We tried the Southern Comfort food truck which had the most appealing menu to us and had the most people around it. The food was amazing!!! I had the crawfish etouffee and my honey had the crab fries and deep fried catfish po'boy. The crab fries were ok in my opinion, the crab and fries were lukewarm and the crab didn't taste as fresh as I thought. The catfish po'boy was heavenly! You could tell the catfish itself was super fresh and just fried. It was soft, flaky, and perfectly fried. My crawfish etouffee was out of this world!!! It was more than enough to fill me up and was packed with crawfish meat. The seasonings were on point with this one. I couldn't get enough (major heart eyes). If you come to Off The Grid, I highly recommend coming on a night where they have the Southern Comfort truck and trying this out. We also had the watermelon lemonade from a different truck also serving soul food and it was delicious! Excited to return and try out more trucks!

I'm mixed on Off the Grid because I do love having the options available when I want to try new things. That being said there's not much shade or seating in the area so we usually find ourselves grabbing food and eating without really lingering to enjoy the atmosphere. The options don't cycle often enough so 4/5 trucks were the same both times we went even though we went 2 months apart. The outdoor music is a nice touch but maybe needs some simple backyard games like cornhole for it to really feel like an event.
