I just purchased a new Toyota Sienna from Daniel Tigerina at Olathe Toyota. I am an out of state customer and worked out the details before traveling in to pick up the car. Daniel was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs and questions. He had a customer friendly approach and never pushed. We made the deal over the phone and I drove down to complete the deal and drive off in my wife's new car. I would highly recommend Daniel and Olathe Toyota.

My wife and I recently had a great experience with the service department at Olathe Toyota. We were very happy with the customer service provided by Adam and Parts and Service Director Tom Blackman. They took the time to listen to our concerns and attend to them. I had previously been to two other Toyota dealerships with the same issue, both of which made minimal attempts to troubleshoot the problem. We will definitely return to Olathe Toyota and recommend them to our family and friends. Their service, professionalism, and personal attention was much appreciated.

Great customer service! This is the only Toyota dealer I go to. They go out of there way to do things right and in a timely manner. I have never had a bad experience here.

Initially, I thought everything went smoothly. However, the dealership found that the VIN was entered incorrectly on the lease paperwork. That meant that I drove the "wrong" car for a month with technically no insurance and could have been arrested for stealing the car until they proved that I did not. They gave me one key that was correct and one that was not. I received the title (Missouri gives titles to their owners) for the wrong vehicle and with returning it to the dealership, I have to wait another month or so and had to get a second temp tag from the dealership so that they can fix this. This is in the process of being resolved at the moment. Toyota Financial said that they could change the VIN and the color of the car internally rather than writing up a new lease. I am left to wonder if the document that I have that is initialed is legal enough to get out of a ticket or arrest given that it was never printed out with the correct VIN. I really hope I can get a new copy of the lease that shows the correct VIN soon. I already made a payment on the lease too so there was no turning back at that point. If I had gotten in an accident or even pulled over for a violation, I could have been thrown in jail. I would definitely take legal action if need be and still will if there are any issues like that while I wait for this to be resolved. I will say that the dealership has been very nice in this process but it's just frustrating. My state to state transfer can't start, delaying my ability to get my address and everything else taken care of with the move.I barely considered Honda before I had these issues but I found myself wishing I had gone to Honda despite really loving the Toyota brand. The Corolla barely keeps up with anything in it's class from horsepower to gas mileage it's a weak argument going with the car that couldn't have been made cheaper by Toyota. So cheaply in fact, that I had to have the tire reset for $25.00 within a week of leasing the vehicle because from the factory the bead was messed up and the tire leaked (and tires aren't covered under warranty). I loved my previous Toyota and despite all of the negatives I still love my car but these issues should never have happened and I hope that Toyota takes note of the comments about their ability to keep up with their main competitor. If they can't make cars that are at a very minimum par with Honda, eventually I will switch over. Furthermore, it irritated me that I caught the managers giving me a different number in the lease paperwork than what we had discussed (and different than the paperwork I was given before I even sat down) which would have cost me about $700-800 more over the course of the lease had I not caught it. I am not one to be swindled since Chevrolet did me over five years ago but I would have expected more from a reputable dealer like Olathe Toyota. I know I gave them a hell of a time getting a lease signed, getting my business and I know they gave me more than they wanted to for my trade given it's condition. However, while that type of clerical error can happen, it seemed to me that the managers were just trying to sneak in some more money off the top rather than sticking to the original deal that we had agreed to. Always read the fine print (apparently always get the VIN yourself too). I probably would never come back to this location except that there are no convenient Toyota locations in the area and I will have to get my service done. While this is being taken care of, there really hasn't been anything done about this except an I'm sorry from one of the managers and the car salesman that helped me. Others should know that this type of thing happened and that they need to check these types of details when they go to buy or lease. Honestly, I'm not sure what I would expect to make me feel better about this. Maybe a refund on my $25.00 for the tire would be nice. Other than that, I'm in a lease, so what else should I expect. I wanted to thank Toyota for caring enough to at least ask for my feedback.Thank you
