I hosted an afternoon tea at the inn for a friend's baby shower. Michael, the owner, made everything absolutely perfect - booking the event (we were a group of 9 ladies) was so easy, the food and tea were UNBELIEVABLE, his staff was so kind and welcoming, and the inn itself has a charm and warmth that is undeniable. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this inn, whether for an afternoon tea, a meal, or a weekend stay. I can't emphasize enough how absolutely pleased we all were with our entire experience! Thank you!

Michael is the consummate host; gracious, always smiling, and friendly. He makes the Inn feel like home. And what a cook! Breakfast was lovely, presented like a professional chef with edible flowers! The 1783 Inn is well kept and a masterpiece of period design, tastefully apppointed with period pieces. Our Louisa May Alcott room was again, wonderfully appointed, and the bed slept dreamy.

My Husband and I needed some long overdue R&R and couldn't have landed upon a better Place than The Old Mystic Inn. Not only was our room immaculate but so was the entire Inn. The Inn is filled with old antiques, books and collectibles making everywhere you look a wonder filled discovery. The dining room is bright and welcoming , a great place to start your day.. Not to mention the Blue Ribbon Breakfasts each morning. Our bed was comfortable, the shower...perfect... The grounds and gardens well maintained and colorful. Michael The Inn's Keeper was friendly, knowledgeable about the area and has a great laugh. We will definitely be back! Karen and Joe

Third time at the inn. We love it! Michael is an amazing host, the rooms are quaint and the breakfasts are out of this world.

By far the best breakfast compared to other B&Bs or brunch restaurants. Every morning is a discovery of Michael's fusion breakfast creations!
