Perfect little waterside Inn for a stopover in Mystic. On the Mystic River, it is homey, comfy and a very unique little spot with only a few rooms so call well ahead of time for a reservation! And expect to spend some $$ for a stay at this elegant little Inn.

There's really nothing bad I can say about this place. When we turned up the staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. The lady showed us to our room (Carolyn) and gave us a quick tour and let us know how to go about negotiating the crowded parking lot. Everything is in walking distance so the car stayed in the lot the whole time. Our room was on the water which was extremely pleasant, especially when it came to having a coffee on the bench in the morning sun. Breakfast was delicious (the quiche Lorraine was fantastic!) and there was a great selection of hot and cold offerings. The common room is open the whole time and another nice touch was the sherry and cookies at 5pm. From the location to the quality of the room to the friendliness of the staff, A+ all around. We'll definitely be back!

It is a quit little hotel that really has some care to it! Wonderful view of the water and drawbridge as well. Many shops and restaurants around the Steamboat Inn.
