I'll start with the negative. There was a strange smell right when we walked into the front door. The wait time was about 30 minutes but when we were shown to our table, there were about 5 other open tables in the room. 

The waitress seemed uninterested and stressed out, possibly due to being understaffed.  She didn't offer to bring me a fresh glass of water when I showed her that I had a piece of paper suck to the inside of mine and she hardly cracked a smile the entire time. I'm fairly easy going when dining out - not too picky about food, and don't ask for much in service, but a clean glass of water is pretty important. 

If you happen to catch Olive Garden on a night when customer service is solid, then it will likely be an overall good experience. The actual food was enjoyable and filling. I ordered lasagna and my fiance had the tour of Italy. While it may not be the most creative Italian in the Charlotte region, the food is comfortable both in flavor and texture. The bread sticks are always great. 

I don't think our experience was poor enough that we'll never go to Olive Garden again. I suspect we just caught them on a bad night for service. With that said, we'll probably wait a while to return so that the memory of a poor experience fades.

Food not good. Nothing special.  Service bad.   Waitress did not write down order for party of eight.  Had to come back and ask one person what she ordered. Still got some orders wrong. Three drinks on the bill  not ours.   4 people in our party we're served.  15 min later the other 4.  Then after that part of first order came.  update my review.  i guess the food was not that good on second thought. looking back the lasagna did not look right on my plate,  it was just a clump like the end remnants of the cooking pan. needless to say it did not stay down,  140 am it came back up followed by the salad. lost of money to pay for bad food.  Last visit for me

It was super busy when we went to eat at 1 on a Fri, 15 minute wait (also Christmas shoppers were out n about)! Didn't affect anything as far as quality. Our server was awesome, food was awesome. To be honest I've never been a huge fan of OG in general, probably ate at one maybe 5x in last 10 years. So I don't know if this one is just that good or they improved overall. Either way we'll definitely be going there again & I mean soon!

Me and the wife can't help but love it here. Maybe it was because it was first Italian joint in our late teens. But she loves there Alfredo even more then higher prices Italian places. I usually get the chicken and shrimp carb. which at the Rock Hill, SC location is always great. We have tried multiple things. My wife wishes they would bring back gelato!

Not happy. Went with my client who loves this place but I was VERY disappointed. Salad had the leftovers of the the heads of Iceberg, limited onions, tomatoes and olives. Bridget was great. Menu was very misleading! Breadsticks were great! No hurry to go back there.
