I know that I'm going to receive massive backlash and harassment for sharing my experience but I feel like it needs to be shared. I won't get into great detail or share screenshots rather I will try to keep this short and sweet. 

First of all, team of lifters here are genuinely nice people. When I went to train there everyone was friendly and made me feel welcome.

Unfortunately,  Pat roode is wildly unprofessional. I only stayed for three weeks and during that time I was coached one full session. Every other session I drove to Omaha he was late, left early, or was not there at all. 

He is absolutely terrible with communication. I told him exact days and times that I would be in to train yet when I would come in he would have an excuse as to why he wasn't present.

To this day, he continues to spread false information with other people  although I left his gym over a month ago. He claims he "gave me a program" but I received two days of workouts during the three weeks that I was there.  

Membership fees are never consistent. So depending on who you are (or your current situation) you'll pay anywhere from $0-$100+ per month which does work out great for some people! 

Pat has helped lifters improve for sure but his coaching methods are intolerable for most, which is why he has a difficult time getting people to stay in his gym long term. 

He is constantly berating people and spouting off on tangents. If he is upset with someone (justly or not) he will intentionally take it out on the entire team. Once saying "Now the rest of the team gets to deal with me because of you.." which is a disgustingly terrible coaching model.

I shared my experience on MY PERSONAL facebook page and he proceeded to text my phone 9 times and went as far as to reach out to personal friends of mine to try and put a spin on the story. (although I had the screenshots as proof)

I initially did not want to leave a review due to a few people, specifically, that still train there. I recently found out though that no one in his gym is permitted to speak to me otherwise they will be removed from the team. So at this point I feel compelled to share my experience of dealing with this man. 

Please beware. Pat will talk a big game about his facility being one of the best in the nation but he's all talk. He's disrespectful, rude, unprofessional, and vindictive. He will never be held accountable for his actions & should the time come that you call him out on his behavior he will immediately get defensive and you'll get nowhere with him.

If you're looking for a great place to train i g the olympic lifts here ya go. Fantastic attitudes here. We joke around but get serious when we lift. Come join today.
