I've had good a bad experiences with this store...people working here usually aren't RUDE, but are typically more interested in socializing with other employees than looking for customers needs.  That being said, I truly do believe that Kid to Kid is very comparable in inventory and pricing, however, Kid to Kid offers more clearances and markdowns.  Also, Kid to Kid accepts more; whether that is because, as Once Upon a Child has said "they have lower standards," or because they need the inventory due to more movement of inventory, it doesn't matter to me!  I'll skip Once Upon a Child in the future, and just offer all I have to Kid to Kid.
Also, with their little kids' door and much larger and more stocked play area, my kids were way happier at Kid to Kid as well.

Okay, so I was in the area and I decided to sell just 2 items that were a year old and and trending.  I usually sale to the Robinson location and figured i would just get rid of the old winter stuff my daughter no longer fit from last winter. I carried my stuff in with no bag and asked the women if she would just look and tell me if she wanted them so I wouldn't be wasting her time or waiting a hour. At first she said she needed my i.d. So I went to look for it and couldn't find it.. so I asked my friend to use hers it took my friend a moment to find hers...she already looked at my items and said they were ok... then it seemed she was frustrated by us looking for our i.ds and said " actually we don't take fashion clothing we only take practical clothing.  At first she was all about taking it then now it's " too fashionable".  She came off rude and just slid my items to me with out even speaking directly to me. I took my items to another once apon a child location and they took them, they even checked dates and told me they were in good condition.  I do love shopping here but as far as selling I guess I'll take my overly fashionable kids clothes to another location. :(

My absolutely favorite store! I love selling an buying kids things here. They are very picky but you can't blame them esp while buying kids clothes u have to imagen all the items they get offered a day..an kids are messy. I have walked out before with 9$..20$ I've walked out before with 67$ I've walked out before with 178$! All's depends on what they're looking to buy. Toys will get you better cash return more than clothing but make sure theyre in good condtion an have all pieces . The ladies are very nice. Very professional an down to earth. They have a wide varity of clothes for kids from newborn to preteens. Shoes...toys for all ages but mainly babys/toddlers...books..games..rollerblades..ixeskates...pjs..dresses...nice clothes..play clothes.. hats.. etc. I found a monster high doll for 2$!! She was perfect like brand new witg all her pieces. I bought her for myself cause I collect them. An bought my daught a few chapter bad kitty books for 1.50 a piece. They have tons of high end strollers.. bouncers ..rockers...bassinets...car beds..play tables..ride on toys.. etc. I took my items to kid to kid the first time I ever sold..i had two bins of toys.. An 5 bags of clothes I left with 20$. Took the exact same things I took to kid to kid right up the street to once upon a child an walked out with 178$! But once again..not every time are u going to receive a excellent pay out.. It depends on the season..the style..the brand..the quality..the item..etc. I sold 47 items before n got only 50$ so basically a dollar a item.. but still this store is by far hands down my favorite store to sell my child's clothes an old toys at! And buy clothes. Take clothes in...get money..get clothes. Basically like trading 8 pairs of too small clothing items from ur kiddo for one item the right size. They do not accept any sort of stain. Any rips. Any tears. Any hair. Any musty moldy cig smelled clothing...which I don't blame them cause it's for children. I highly reccomend this store to sell or buy kids clothes. Esp if u take care of ur kids items an are clean. Wash clothes before bringing I recommend.

I'm always happy with their selection and their buys! I live in the South Hills and I would much rather drive up to this location than to the ones in Robinson or West Mifflin. It's larger, better organized and they have a much better selection!

We went there to sell kids clothing. We had washed them and put away in was boys closet. We had suits, ties, shirts n pants. We put them in a clear plastic plastic bag to protect them while in travel. Got there filled out form put them down and waited. After 20 min, they said they couldn't except them because they smelled musty. It looked like she didn't even pull them of the counter and out of the bag to inspect.  IT NEVER MOVED WHERE WE PLACED THEM ON THE COUNTER!!! I will NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone. No wonder your rating is so bag. Should of listed to others experience!
