I visited the store on the west side of Madison today. I have sold things to this store for years but today I only had a few items. The lady that greeted me was kind but the other clerk rudely announced “we can’t accept anything in a plastic bag” and “it has to be in a bin”.  Why is that I asked?  Her response...”that’s our policy” (but she couldn’t state the reason).  Okay, done with this business. To the business owner...I would focus on some customer service skills for your staff members.

I am so glad I came here to see the reviews of this store.  It confirms for me that I'm not crazy (and its not ME with the problem).  i went to this store to sell a child's bike a few clothing items, and the lady at the counter was IMMEDIATELY rude because I had the clothes in plastic bags and not a 'tote'.  Like how was I supposed to know that 'in order to sell items' to the store they had to be brought in a tote and not plastic bags (even though the other FEW times I had sold there, NOTHING was ever mentioned to me about what I brought the items in).  Long story short, BECAUSE I was disrespected by this lady (and her co-worker), of course I became upset and defensive and the situation only escalated and I ended up leaving (with them refusing to buy from me).  My point is, I left that day feeling really bad --- Like was that whole experience, MY FAULT?  When deep down I knew it wasn't.  The lady at the counter was flat out rude and I simply reacted.  Like I said, I'm glad I came here to see others reviews of this place, and how many others have had bad experiences here as well.  Thank you all for sharing.

Renae the manager was wonderful, very informative and I had a postive experience working with her.  They just put out the winter stuff and they had a decent stock.  Will be back to check more deals later!

we sold items to this store. On the screen it said a price after they entered all of the clothes. They then went onto entering the toys we brought in and a wagon. The total was $59 and some change before the toys after they entered the toys the price dropped to $51. The lady told us there was a “fee” which is why it dropped, which is a lie. Because we called in the next day and asked different employees about this “fee” that ended up not exsisting. I watch the manager go threw in the screen and delete items from the list they were buying causing our payout to drop and they still kept all of the items. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Only reason I put one star was because I had to to write this review.

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. Completely unethical behavior. I sold items, but didn't realize they had taken one of my large baby items without telling me. When I went back into the store to get it back, they asked me to BUY IT BACK. Appalling store. Appalling manager - sneaky, deceitful, underhanded and rude. 

Would never, ever go here or sell here again.
