Frequently has decent sales, but this is a relatively small store by today's standards so selection is kind of small. Not too many people shop here which makes it less crowded in the aisles. There is also not usually a wait at the checkouts.

Staff here are extremely incompetent and not helpful at all. Completely void of care, they have NO customer service whatsoever. Not to mention, I have had COUNTLESS problems with online Shopko ordering... From missing items to totally incorrect items shipped to finding out the items I bought were out of stock. You also don't get a receipt until you pick up the items which means you can't return or exchange things right while you're there; you have to make an additional trip out of your way to go back to return/exchange. I picked up an order here about a week ago that was given to me with some dust and dirt on it, as if it had been thrown onto the floor. Today I went to pick up a different order and they couldn't find it so it took FOREVER for them to search through everything and look several different places. While talking to the ironically named "customer service", I overheard the angry customer next to me talking with someone else from customer service. Apparently they didn't have the item she tried buying online. Get your sh** together, Shopko.

While the store recently received a much needed remodel, I'm still not a fan of this chain. It has a dollar store feel without dollar store prices and the selection is not as good as the nearby Super Target.

Madison West side Shopko. Sunday 08/13/2017 evening. I went to buy a tub chair for $78.. There were about 8 of them with different colors on display in the furniture area inside the store. I asked for help to take it to checkout no one helped so i myself bought to the checkout. At checkout the lady said we cannot sell u this tub chair. I asked her the reason she said it was only for display . I said there are about 8 of them same tub chairs . how can you not sell me 1 out of 8.. u mean all 8 were on display? same tub chairs? you kidding me. She said we will check inside if we have more and then will decide to sell or not. She came back saying we will not sell you this. I asked why did u keep so many on display ? she said we just cannot sell that tub chair. I shopped few more items and due to their behavior and lady manager was not helping ... i returned all items and ended up not buying anything from shopko. I would not accept that rude behavior from them .. I will never visit any Shopko anywhere only for the behavior . I think as a customer I deserve some respect. that they lacked in providing. Its a fail shop as they cant sell an item to a customer even after requesting them to sell.
