I've never had a terrible experience at this location. The steaks are always phenomenal. The staff is friendly and prompt. The mushrooms are in a league of their own. Honestly I can't wait to revisit. Great job guys!!!

This was the WORST experience I’ve probably had in a LONG time! The food was so over seasoned and SALTY that I spit it in a napkin AT the table. They replaced the food and charged us for both plates. I had made 3 bites off mine. Our check was given to the MANAGER on duty and some how was $20 short when the server came back. Had to give another $20! I feel so bad for the server bc she didn’t do anything wrong so we tipped her over 20% and apologized. NEVER AGAIN! Not the first time it has happened.

Consistent food for a chain. Excellent waiter: Jake Cisco.  His service was just right, friendly and professional with good follow up. Good timing even though it was a busy Saturday night. Jake is bright and articulate...likely destined for bigger things.

Twelve years ago, I was an employee at this Outback Steakhouse.  It was a great atmosphere.  The proprietor at the time was always challenging us in different ways, pushing us to be better all around.  We had times to shoot for when it came to turning out appetizers, salads, and entrees, and we consistently beat those times.

Fast forward twelve years.  My wife and I have moved away, moved back, and had a child.  And we returned to eat at my old stomping grounds, the Southaven Outback Steakhouse.  My old boss is gone, and I don't know any of the remaining employees, but I can tell those old goals are still a thing.  You can see the pep in the servers' steps.  The food is consistent and consistently good.

It's pretty funny the way that when my wife and I decide to go out to eat and are having that endless debate in the car about where to go, we always know that if we can't think of something that we can always go to Outback and enjoy ourselves.  Our experience there has been that consistent.  It has become a comfort, something we rely on.  In the casual dining category, you're not going to find anyone in the county or in Memphis that can compete for utter consistency.  

Being consistent isn't enough.  You have to be good.  You have to both.  Consistent and good.  Consistently good.  Rest assured, Outback is both.  You have plenty of other places in town that are consistently bad, and that's what makes Outback stand out above the rest.  Make it your comfort zone.  You won't regret it.

We eat here often, the foods always good and we've always had excellent service but today was the worse service we've ever had at this restaurant, our server wasn't horrible  but she was not attentive enough. I hope to never get stuck with her again. I will go back because I believe it was this particular server.
