Love the staff at this location! Always friendly and efficient. Although I work near another location, I drive an extra 10 minutes to support these guys!

I had an order of the crawfish tacos on flour tortillas, asked for one friend and one grilled. The staff happily obliged so I commend the staff for not flat out refusing an odd request. Unfortunately I cannot commend the quality of the food. I first tried the grilled crawfish. Bland and underwhelming, not properly seasoned with salt. I am someone who personally does not like a lot of salt but to find that the spicy aioli and cheese is the only thing that has any hints of salts. Additional the spicy aioli was quite nice unfortunately both tacos only had it very lightly on half of them so both of the first bites were very bland. The fried were nice and crisp and the crust did have a nice seasoning to it unfortunately the crawfish themselves were once again not properly seasoned. The crawfish were a bit on the rubbery side, with a texture you find with frozen product. On the side were black beans and seasoned rice. The black beans were watery and again no seasoning. The rice did have a proper amount of salt but parts were dried out and crunchy and had too much cilantro. Included with the order came a bag of chips and salsa. Now the salsa, I have been told, made fresh every two days or less but what I find unappealing was that it was made from canned tomatoes and not fresh tomatoes which gave it an over sweet and salty taste and not a great freshness of flavor you get from a salsa made fresh from scratch daily. The chips were surprisingly well seasoned unfortunately there was nothing good to go with them. I hate throwing food away but the salsa had to go. There is definitely potential with the food but unfortunately for $15 with tax I cannot recommend Swankys Taco Shop. The place would have had a 1 star but I give them an extra star for the honesty an friendliness of the employees.

Prices are really high, like the employees. But the food is pretty good. Service not so much. "Wait, what did you order?" "Oh I forgot to drop (make) that..."

Food is great! Took a few for the food to come out but it was so worth the wait. Reminds me of a Qdoba from back home (CO) but better!!
