Oyster Club

Story

The Treehouse at Oyster Club incorporates a smokey flare on its farm and sea to table cuisine. A trip down memory lane brings you back to a treehouse for a dining venue under the sun or stars.

Didn’t quite meet my expectations, I will come back and try again for dinner. However, I only did happy hour. Maybe dinner is different. I had their happy hour oysters and wine. I ended up throwing up after not sure if it was the combo I had or the oysters. The oysters were ok it wasn’t out of this world, then again I did happy hour. You would think for a prestigious place like this; happy hour oysters would be fine and safe. Which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. I wasn’t expecting to be throwing up after, then again could of been the combo. I have eaten many oysters and never had this experience before.

My wife and I made a reservation through open table noting that we would be celebrating a graduation and a honeymoon. We arrived 15 minutes early and the hostess graciously seated us, however that's where the positive experience ended. We were greeted at the table and the menu was explained. The server did not return. We sat at our table for 15 minutes straight watching as our server sat other parties. She walked past us several times without acknowledging us. We left and went to the pub around the corner.

One of my favourite restaurants, anywhere! Food is fantastic, fresh from their local farm and changes seasonally. Service is attentive but not invasive and the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. There is a great little "treehouse" bar attached which is great in the summer if you arrive early, with views over the town. 100% recommended

A must visit. Absolutely delicious and while not cheap it is not overpriced either. It is "farm to table" approach with menu changing every day. We tried fish (fluke and blackfish) entrees and soups (clam chowder and tomato) - everything tasted super good. While here see if you can hit Sift bakery (only a few houses down the street) and enjoy their croissants - heavenly giod.

First off I have to say this.... THEY HAVE RHODE ISLAND CLAM CHOWDER!!! I was SO excited to have this! As a native of New England who moved away from the region this is a VERY rare thing for me to have and it was amazing. Bravo! Now can you pretty please have Manhattan Clam Chowder too? OK now on to the review. The restaurant is stylish, decorated very nicely, has a wonderful menu and sees to attract the most wealthy and notable folks in the area to include a few celebs. We went for brunch and it was nothing short of original and amazing. Aside from the soup I had eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delish! They created a spicy hollandaise sauce which I’d never had before and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were also professional and very present. The only con is that they forgot my mimosa which was fine because I was so full I couldn’t eat anymore. Seriously though it is a great place.
