This campsite is one of the worst KOA we have been to! The tent sites are on rocks! So unbearable to even just sit in the tents. No campfire allowed! I mean.... what's camping without a fire pit! Red ants everywhere!!! All over the kids playground, all over the mini golf, and even the camp sites. I would definitely recommend Chula Vista KOA in San Diego! More shaded area, mulch tent sites, and camp fire is allowed! Don't waste your money here!

My wife loved it here and the kids had a great time. I thought it was quite nice for a campground in the desert, but it's not really my kind of camping. Gravel lots are better suited to the RV crowd (we were in a tent). There are great facilities, notably including a kid friendly swimming pool, natural hot springs hot tubs at three different temperatures, a reading room, board game room, billiards room, fitness room, and a sizeable dining/activities hall. There also is a small, free mini golf course, playground, and split large/small dog corral. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even with our late arrival (2045) and incomplete booking information (we were part of a larger group). There was a Halloween themed activity hosted on Saturday for the kids and a short trick-or-treating event with karoke and dancing later that evening. In the afternoon there was a regular ice cream social event that was low cost and quite popular, though understandably had limited options. Overall I would stay again for a cheap mini-vacation/hotel alternative, but do not recommend the campground for serious camping.

Good experience. Next time would book site with gravel vs sand base. It was obvious they were working to keep the facilities well maintained. Cheçk in experience was also very good. Would go back.

Great mineral pools. Nice having water and electric at site. Not much privacy..

The pool is amazing. They use warm water from the hot springs to heat the pool. There are also 4 bubblebaths, with even warmer water Even in a desert environment this is nice. It is a big rv park, but mostly busy during the winter I guess. Park is close to Joshua Tree park, small store and gas station close by.
