If I could give this hospital NO STARS I would!!! How in the HEIGHT of the flu epidemic do you NOT test 3 CHILDREN WHO HAD a sibling TEST POSITIVE! Oh I know...You tell the patient that you DON'T HAVE ANY TESTS but try to pacify them with...oh if it was -/+ your treatment would be the same....oh and NO we're NOT giving you ANY prescriptions EVEN THOUGH your 3 year old CLEARLY has a fever! And Blame it in the CDC! And tell me it's not their fault they ran out of supplies?!! So I asked if you're NOT testing people...The CDC's number CAN'T be accurate...it's probably MUCH HIGHER? They looked dumbfounded
Now I see how people are dying from the flu!

I come here every two weeks for treatment and and welcomed by everyone here as if they’re family. I love this hospital and everyone in it. They truly are here to help and make you better. All while making the experience as painless as possible.

I swear this is the most awful children's hospital there is. The staff is lazy, they'll tell you the wait is only 30 minutes even though there is a waiting room full of people and you wait for over 3 hours, you'll have over 4 doctors/nurses to talk to you but ask you the same thing like they don't check their charts. I went there for gastro problems an I went back over 6 times with no results, I also went for a simple surgery then ended up staying for an extra 3-4 days for "extreme involuntary movements", I woke up from my surgery jumping like I was coming out of a drug withdrawal! They sent me home and I still had the jumping for another whole week. I could walk to the bathroom without coming back to my room and looking like I was having a seizure. And they served me food with butter in it when they knew that Im badly lactose intolerant. When I couldn't get out the bed to go to the bathroom I called a nurse and she didn't coming till 10 minutes later so i got tired and tried to get out of the bed by myself and when she finally came she got mad at me for trying to get out of bed by myself.. I was about to pee myself I couldn't wait anymore and she was just taking her sweet time... So yea I really wouldn't recommend this hospital you will be wasting your time and money

Worst hospital i ever been to..dont even deserve one star to be honest..  child had an open lacerations on her face that needed stitches and was bleeding non stop and we waited for the doctors for hours.. you child could die and they probably wouldnt give a damn.. not to mention everybody is on their phones texting or having personal conversations or laughing and joking with eachother.. TERRIBLE HOSPITAL!!

My granddaughter recently was a patient here. She received excellent care during her stay. The entire Palmetto Children's Hospital staff went above & beyond all expectations. Thanks to everyone involved in caring for her.
