Palms Trading Company originated as a grocery store around 1933. It’s evolved into a local meeting place, and finally a trading company specializing in Native American Indian art. It is a local landmark and a true New Mexican treasure.
Palms Trading Company has the most complete inventory of Pueblo Pottery and Indian jewelry in the industry today. Our 5000 square foot showroom displays thousands of pieces of Pueblo Pottery, even more Indian jewelry as well as hundreds of Navajo rugs, Hopi and Navajo Kachinas and much, much more.
Palms Trading Company’s owner worked during summer vacations at the Trading Post as a young man and now has over 20 years experience in buying and selling Native American Pottery and Jewelry. Guy has written 2 books on Pueblo and Navajo Contemporary pottery published by Schiffer Publishing Company in Atglen PA. Mr. Berger, an accomplished public speaker, has also given many talks on Indian Art to various group over the years.
