I just moved to Grand Island from Omaha. I LOVE Panera and frequented several stores in Omaha. This is the only store in GI and I am extremely disappointed in this specific store. Every time I have visited this store (probably 7-10 times in the past 4 months) I experienced problems with either missing items from my order, several items unavailable that should be available, long wait times during non-busy hours, items prepared wrong or just not well period. I am very understanding that issues happen, but i should not expect issues with every visit. This last time, an item was missing form my to go order, I called immediately and the manager stated the item would be available for pick up the following day along with a voucher. I went to pick up my item, and neither the item or voucher were at the store and the item I had ordered was out of stock. I will not return to this store until the service makes some changes. Went thru the drive thru and ordered the soup in a bread bowl when I got home and handed the bread bowl to my daughter there was no soup so I headed back to the restaurant to get my messed up order on the way I call and ask to speak to a manager and a girl name Kassy answers the phone and says she is the manager so I tell her my deal and she hangs up on me so I call back 5-6 times finally another female answers and says she is the manager I tell he Kassy said she was and the so called manager says she shouldn't have...So now I am really upset and her what is going on there I had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago and had to go back and get the soup...the so called manager doesn't like that I am mad for being ripped off and now lied to and tells me I am not allowed in the store anymore...she didn't know I was now in the parking lot headed inside I walk up to the order window and ask if I am going to get my soup and the so called manager is now mad at me the customer done wrong and she throws the soup in a bowl and puts the lid on it and throws it at me...lucky it didn't come open and hot soup burn me. Other customers saw this happen too and were shocked. I asked her for her name and she refused to tell me. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

Love going here for coffee and a bagel in the mornings. Also have an excellent menu of soup, salads and sandwiches. Great selection in the bakery too!

For what you pay and what you get it isn't worth it for me. The service is good and the food is pretty good (the bread is excellent), but 10 bucks for chilli!! No thanks
