I always order from here when it’s 50% off depending on all sports team around the dmv. Great food every time.

They do not make good pizzas. They do not put on enough toppings. You get a bubbled crust due to a lack of sauce and toppings. Do not waste your money. They smile at you like they do a good job.....NOT. I suggest retraining on how to make a decent pizza. Maybe they are trying to cut costs but not at my expense, no thank you!!!!!!

Lord why is one star required? 

Below mediocre service.. I ordered pizza because I was hungry not because I want to sit around for 2 hours waiting for food..

Called the restaurant once after an hour (20 Mins past the estimate sent in the confirmation) was assured he was on the way to me.. I live 5 minutes from the location and while I understand there may be other orders he has to deliver don’t tell me he’s on the way to me if he’s not...

30 minutes later I call again.. she calls the driver... after being on hold for 10 minutes she informs me he’s 6 minutes away.. how? 30 minutes ago he was on the way to me and your delivery radius isn’t that large.. otherwise I’d be ordering from the fort Washington location.. 

I asked to cancel the order because at this point I don’t want a soggy pizza that’s been in someone’s car for over half a hour.. she responds: ok, your money will be back on your card in 2 days... 

No apology nothing.. 

At this point I’m fuming and hungry ... and am still waiting on hold for a manager.. after 20 minutes of waiting on hold I hung up.. called back and got a manager... he didn’t even care enough to ask why ...

You shouldn’t be in a customer service position if you can’t service customers .. point blank.. and yes I’m hungry as hell writing this so I’m angrier than normal

Papa Johns really needs to hold their franchise locations to higher standards because this is shameful.. on every site they’re barely holding on to a star....

Not up to the normal Papa John's standards. I did carryout, with a pizza, chicken poppers, and bread sticks. The pizza... Even fresh looked two notches below quality, and the poppers (never had them from another store) were only passable. 

I would recommend the extra ~3-5 miles to get to the next Papa John's store.

Don't even waste your time ordering from them because your food will be late and cold and the drivers have an attitude.  Apparently I have to walk outside to the driver's car to retrieve my pizza. It's not good enough that I was standing at the front of my apartment building. Smdh.  Then the driver took his sweet time getting receipts and my pizza n's drink.  Once he decided that he would walk the 20 feet to my apartment,  he proceeds to tell me that he is the "lead driver" and if you live in an apartment building you have to walk to the drivers car to get your food! Why am I paying a delivery fee and giving a tip if I have to walk to the drivers car in order to get my food??  Plus they were 45 minutes late with my order!!! Never again will I order from them.
