It's Papa John's Pizza

Papa John's is a national fast food pizza chain.

We did a takeout order here a month or so ago.  The order was as requested with no problems.  I ordered and paid online.

Papa John's pizza just isn't that great.  Although their garlic butter is a nice perk.  There is better pizza out there for about the same price.

We stopped ordering from this location (Citrus Park) for sometime and now I remember why !!  They never fail to screw up the order.  An appropriate response would be to fix it not for the customer - me, to be BEGGING for it to be corrected and for us to receive what we ordered.  Really inconvenient, especially since this was carry out. Skip it and order from Grimaldi's or Anthony's NY Pizza.  Much better product anyway.

Giving an inside look at papa john's delivery service, I work as a manager for papa johns and would like to share information based on this because I receive probably around 40 calls a week regarding late delivery service. This should help the people understand what's really going on when that happens. 

We deliver to quite a large area stretching as far as Patterson rd-Tarpon springs rd to Race Track rd-Countryway to Linbaugh rd-Veterans expressway to Lutz Lake Fern rd-TPC Blvd. I know people like and want their pizzas delivered to them on time or earlier based on the given quote times but sometime we aren't able to do so. Especially during the late evening/night when there are few people working. 

Business sale are very unpredictable, and running late shifts there are only three people working in the store, a manager and two drivers, and we could suddenly have 5 people order delivery online within a ten minute period. Since we only have two drivers working and depending on where the deliveries may fall, we could have only two of the five pizzas on time or up to three or four on time if the deliveries are close relative to each other. The remaining orders to be delivered will be late no matter what as the average time for a driver to be absent of the store is about 30 minutes. So with that being said, let's say both drivers can only take 1 of the five deliveries each and the quote times were 35-40 minutes online. The first two people would receive on time at about 15-20 minutes depending on how long it took to make the pizzas and how long it took for the driver to arrive. That would mean it could be up to an hour and a half for the last pizza to be delivered. So in reality, it most likely isn't our fault if the pizzas are late, it's just the way things worked out.

Terrible delivery time. 2 hours to get a delivery. Online confirmation said up to one hour.

Had the same garden fresh pizza in many locations but theirs was really fresh and tasted great.  Made right in front of us in less than 15 minutes.
