Story

We’re a local restaurant specializing in Mexican cuisine. For over 40 years, we’ve been the hot spot for birthdays and celebrations. With free chips and salsa and great specials, and a menu with everything from tostadas to burritos to fried ice cream, we’ve got the meal to satisfy any craving. Call-ahead seating, online ordering, and catering also available.

Regular specials include:
Free lunch or dinner the day of your birthday with a picture ID. Lunch specials Monday-Friday, with prices starting at $6.99. Mondays: Buy One Get One Free Burritos. Wednesdays: All-You-Care-to-Eat Fajitas. Fridays & Saturdays: $1 off Fried Ice Cream. Sundays: Kids Eat Free (8 & under)

If your looking for real authentic Mexican food? This isn’t the place for it! The menu’s Mexican but the food taste more like country food.  Great service, people are awesome but maybe if you had a chef that had a heart for the taste of Mexico, he should be hired in the spot. Or could be an owner preference as far as the menu. Still, Taco Bell has better tortillas than this place.

By far the worst service we have encountered at any restaurant in town. We had poor service the last time we went as well and figured we’d give it another try. That turned into a 30 minute wait for a table, there was multiple open tables when we sat down. After we were seated we were greated promptly and placed drink orders. The chips and salsa took another 10 minutes to show up and still no drinks not even the waters we had asked for. When the drinks finally did show up they were wrong and only one water after requesting two. From there we ordered food and over an hour had gone by since we ordered and our server stoped by twice and told us it was ready only to wait another 20 minutes for it to actually show up. We did speak with Jake after the visit and he assured us he would take care of it. We had already paid as we simply wanted to get out of there but Jake assured us he would have taken care of it. I will be surprised if we return for future visits.

Main course for two of us "crusty and dried out".  Perhaps sat under warming light WAY too long??  Table that sat after us served before us, server appeared disorganized.  Very disappointing!!!

After just a couple of visits, the staff knew me and my party and what we drink. I call that excellent service.
