Story

Not knowing whether earthlings would have the required amount of taste buds to truly appreciate our food, we decided to enter the National Bar-B-Que Convention Rib and Chicken Cook-off in Memphis, Tennessee. Our ribs were judged “America’s Best Ribs” and we were awarded the 1st place ribbon! We also won an award for our great tasting chicken!

We came back to our spaceship in Bismarck and started construction on our first Space Aliens™ Grill & Bar on Planet Earth. We opened our second restaurant in Fargo, ND, and our first franchised restaurant in Albertville, MN.

Space Aliens is generally a great time.  I have been going here 20 years, and it is one of my 'go-to' places when I come back to Bismarck for holiday vacation.  They are known for their ribs, wood-fired pizza and monster baked potatoes.  The ribs can be hit or miss - it is not uncommon for me to get a plate of small ribs with no meat or an end full of fat and grizzle.  Ask for a few more if this happens and they will oblige.  Beer is ice cold, and the gaming room is fun entertainment for all ages.   Improve the consistency of your food for a full five stars.

Food is decent( nothing special) but service has always been poor.  Especially in the last 2 years.  My kid likes to go there for the games, so I keep getting dragged there.  This last time it took 90 minutes total for our visit.  My food came but they forgot my sons food.  Had to flag down my waitress to correct that problem.  Had to flag down a totally different waiter to get a refill on drinks.  At the end, my waitress must have forgot about our check and then it took 10 minutes to get a to go box for the left overs.  I told the waitress that because of the piss poor service they should adjust my bill.  Her and the manager stone walled over that idea and eventually took my sons pizza off the bill.  I told them that it was not enough.  After 5 minutes of negotiating I told them fine.  I won't be back.  

Never again.  I have lived in Bismarck since before they opened and I won't waste my money here again.  I can go anywhere for 2 little pepperoni pizzas and a burger.

Ribs were outstanding,  usually very good but they were extremely delicious and fast service.

They are fast, friendly, and clean. The food is delicious. Fun place to take the kids.

Food is mediocre for price. Service is substandard. Table was WAY too small. This restaurant is not worth the price.
