I had good luck with this shop, which was recommended to me by a longtime customer of theirs. They fixed a problem I had with a loose fit in the heel area on two pairs of shoes (I have small heels on my feet). They came up with a solution that was both fast and inexpensive, and it continues to work well. I plan to come back soon!

The zipper of my beloved snowmobile coat broke at the end of last winter. I went to another shop to get a quote for repair. They wanted to replace the whole zipper and charge better than $60. Decided to hold off. Took my coat to Park Ridge today, the repair man took my coat for 5 minutes and came back with it fixed! A simple replacement of the top zipper pull. No need for total replacement! THAT is customer service! THANK YOU PARK RIDGE SHOE REPAIR!! I will tell my story and recommend you to friends and family.

We have taken many pairs of shoes and boats here for repair. The quality of work they do is outstanding and the staff is always friendly and very eager to help. Have and will continue to recommend them!

My sister and I walked into the store seriously looking for assistance to purchase a good pair of shoes with inserts. Upon entering the store there was one person at the cash register assisting one other customer who quickly left. There were at least 3 people working in the back of the store who appeared to be repairing shoes. We were delighted that the store was not busy thinking we would have quick individual service. However, after waiting at least 15 minutes for service in this very small store after the other customer left and watching the clerk during this entire time carry on a personal conversation with a coworker in the doorway between the front of the store and the back, we left. We preceded to their competitor on 41st Street and Kiawanis Avenue and purchased a $200.00 pair of shoes with inserts. If your thinking you need to put up with bad service for the shoe repair you may want to check out the other shoe repair store on 41st Street. Competition, its a good thing.
