The worst!!!!!! Just because it is new and looks nice doesn't mean that it is. Please don't send your family there!!! The staff are not trained very rude, and management will lie to you, if you file a complaint that a staff member touched you inappropriately they will keep you longer and treat you badly, even take away your visitation. Risk manager there stated no children allowed, had to show her park royal brochure that stated children are allowed then she stated they don't have  enough room and only if they approve it. Went  up there on the weekend and plenty of family's had children there. Was lied to over and over again by staff members and administration the only one that told the truth was the person at the front desk, two staff members at the front door talking about one of the patient's.  I heard everything. PLEASE don't take my word for it do your research, if an emergency go to the other one in the area they treat you better even though it is in a bad area of town and does look as nice.

If you or a loved one needs help, this is NOT the place to go, they will not help you. No one has any idea what's going on. Everyone will give you a different answer. My mother was denied access to a doctor and to her maintenance medications. This place is a joke, and a law suit waiting to happen.

Look you have to understand this is a Baker Act receiving hospital and with that you're not going to have the same experience you would at a non Baker Act facility. Yes they do exist in southwest Florida, although very few and far between. 
Anyway I too had a God awful experience the first time I went there, I signed myself out almost immediately. I'll just say it, Dr Mazzorana should have his license pulled and is the most pretentious jerk which may have something to do with the fact he couldn't get into medical school in this country and had to go to a remote Caribbean island to do so. 
However, the second time I went, only because the non Baker Act hospital in Naples had filled all their 12 beds. I demanded a new doc and got Dr. Diaz, a fantastic Dr. Then a went to their outpatient program which is outstanding, a different world than "upstairs". Not the mention the most caring and wonderful psychiatrist Dr. Rieche. 
Park Royal is what it is, a short term crisis and medication stabilization unit, no more no less. 
The Baker Act itself should get zero stars for how much it is abused. There is nothing like it in Illinois.

Horrible set up. A friend was brought in to detox but because if blood pressure issues they had to send him to hospital. When he was ready to come back they had given his bed away and still had his belongings. Came in after hours to pick up belongings and noone at the desk, no buzzer, no nothing. Had already called saying I was on my way. Then had to call them to meet me in the lobby and was put on hold for 10 min and during that time 2 people came in to get help and left due to noone at the desk. Sat in waiting room then for 30 min waiting. So now my friend detoxed in the hospital with no where to go now to just be sent out to drink again with no counseling or help. What is the success rate of that? Do these people even care. Nope. Need to revamp this system and hire people that care.

Please, look for another facility...look at the negative comments by employees.  Treatment is very unorganized.  After 9 months they still do not have my bill correct.
They do not return calls, and it is obvious they do not read these reviews
