Wonderful experience. Kind people, experts are guiding the novice students while practicing what have been learned. Teachers are checking in with students if they need any help. Very happy with the final results with color, blowing, and haircut.

I have had four sessions at the Paul Mitchell school in Sacramento, all in hair color and cut, and I love it!  The students are so caring and careful, and their leaders are helpful to their learning and make sure I get what I need as well.  I recommend this school to everyone!  Just be prepared to spend a very much longer time in session than you would in a commercial place, because your cutter is still learning, and does not want to do anything wrong.  But the results are fabulous!  My friends tell me my hair has never looked better!

A very bad experience.  I came in for a full head hi lite. Blonde. I said i want big blonde hi lites. I knew it wasn't going well. She was pulling my foils before they were done. Anyway she takes me to shampoo bowls and dumped a mess of toner on it. She called for a teacher(really) who says if I buy purple shampoo my hair will be beautiful. I came home with purple, gold and ash hair. It didn't wash out. I came out looking worse than when I went in. I think its disgusting that the teacher thought it was ok to lie to the customers, just so they can get their money and hustle me right out the door. That student didn't have a clue what she was doing and she had been there a year.. What a sorry mess. Now I have to spend more money to get it done correctly.

I have been going to Paul Mitchell for six years. I've liked some of their haircuts more than others but never disliked any of them.  Their skin care services and massage therapies  are fantastic!

Such great service! Everyone is super nice and welcoming. I've only been here twice and had two different hair stylists but I loved both haircuts so much. The first girl fixed the disaster that Marinello's Beauty School left me with. The girls offer a lot of great advice and are super open to hearing suggestions.
