Story

Mr. Ivan Pavlic (95.9 years young) and Ms. Jeannie Pavlic (deceased) started Pavlic’s Unique Florist, a mom & pop business in the literal sense, in July 1970, in Fort Walton Beach. With growth on the mind, Pavlic's opened a second shop, in which their daughter Ms. Rebecca “Becky” Pavlic Edge ran/operated. Due to recessions, an unstable economy, and hard times, the FWB shop closed its doors in July of 1972, 30 years to the day of opening them. Becky, also known as, “Mama Love” has been trading with customers for over 40 years. Buyers beware, hugs are required upon entering!

Surviving two recessions, grocery store floral departments, and wedding planner/coordinators, Pavlic’s has survived, and continues to prosper.

In January of 2016, Ms. Rebecca P. Edge partnered with Mr Loren Page (MSgt, USAF, Ret) and his wife Michele Kinlock (Maj, USAF, Ret). With the new alliance, came a new name “Pavlic’s Florist & Gifts, LLC.”

Pavlic’s services Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Shalimar, Miramar Beach, and parts of Santa Rosa Beach. We have all types of flowers, colors, and a large plant selection on hand at all times. We specialize in weddings! We would love to make any bride’s wedding day extra special with a special touch from ‘mama love.’ Our gifs include items for all occasions: sympathy, religious, baby, birthday, anniversary and lots and lots of balloon choices. Moms, do not forget about Homecoming & Prom – corsages, and boutonnieres are what we do best. We also support local artists by displaying their items in our shop.

Pavlic’s is Destin's oldest Florist and one of Destin’s oldest businesses and a staple to the community.
