OK, it is just a Payless Shoe store, but it was the nicest one I was ever in.  An associate greeted me at the door.  Asked what I was looking for.  Pointed me in the right direction.  Checked back to see how I was doing.  Made some suggestions.  In the end gave me a 20% off coupon to use that day.  Pretty good for a self-service store.

The only Payless ive been to that has one mens aisle and not a single pair of rain boots.

So, we were walking around Washington DC just like all the other tourists, and my shoe broke! This wonderfully located store was a few blocks away from us. They had the perfect pair of walking shoes for me for a great deal! I noticed a few other tourists stopping in to leave their broken shoes as well. Awesome place!
