I was able to find a few pairs of shoes that served the purpose I was looking for, but not in my size. The selection is not very consistent across the sizing, which makes it challenging unless you are looking for basic sneakers.

Just wondering why the store is not open at the time it states on the window? My time is valuable and I'm spending it waiting for someone to open this location. I won't be back again.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I would give it a 0 start if allowed. Cheaper prices doesn't mean you are rude to your customers. My wife and mom went to this store - they tried few shoes on and bought 4 pairs. At the end 2 rep over there said they had to put all the shoe boxes back in the place as it is customer hazard and until they do that they won't allow them to purchase shoes they wanted. My wife said this is their job to put back shoes and they started shouting at them. One of the shoes they wanted to purchase didn't have a box so my wife asked for a box as the shoes are supposed to come with a box - they didn't give box and said they will call security if my wife and mom (who is 64 years old btw) doesn't put remaining tried shoes back where they belong. People working here should not be working anywhere if they don't know how to talk to a customer. We are not going to buy at payless ever again not at this store or the other. I wonder how this horrible company is still in the business.

Giving me 800 number doesn't really show that you care about customer service. Read other reviews on Yelp about this specific store where you can see we are not the first customers treated like this over the years in Factoria Payless location. I had asked your sales reps in the store to provide name and contact information for store manager so I could talk to the manager about this. Manager wasn't around and according to them had just started on that day - they gave me the name but refused to provide contact information or her schedule so I can come back to store and talk to her. The reps refused to provide their own names obviously. I called store today to talk to manager and one of the same reps picked up the phone and refused to let me talk to manager saying she is busy. When I asked her when she will be free, she said that she can't provide that information. Really?? Fire your incompetent staff if you care about your reputation and customer service or just visit the store yourself to experience your customer service at this location first hand.
