This is the second time we've had a beef tenderloin that has been aged. The first was in Indianapolis Iowa 15 years ago this matches that and is much better. While expensive the meal was well worth the money. We also shared a Louisiana Seafood dish which was authentic and wonderful

My husband and I decided to take my father-in-law here to celebrate his birthday because he said he wanted steak and he had informed me that he lives carrot cake. I knew Peerless had a great carrot cake so we chose it as the place for steak out of several other steakhouse options in the area. We arrived a little before 9 pm due to my having to work late. The restaurant wasn't due to close until 9:30 pm. However, upon our being seated our waitress acted like we we're a major inconvenience to her. My husband requested his favorite soup that he had also highly recommended to his father. No soup left of any kind. We order our meals. Be fore the waitress leaves with our meal.order I make sure she has the carrot cake. She acts as if this is a silly question. Meanwhile, the waitresses mother, who had come to pick her up, was seated across from us. Our whole meal the mother stares at us, hacks, coughs and snorts loudly, and butts into our conversation randomly. Time to order dessert and we order two slices of carrot cake. The waitress says they only have one. I let my father-in-law have it and order a Mudslide. Not impressed. As an apology for the lack of carrot cake the waitress has her manager stop by and give us a coupon for a free appetizer. Never again will I go to Peerless after 7 pm and I may not go back again at all. If you don't want to serve food after 9 pm, close at 9 pm!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I will say, however, that our waiter was very nice and did his job well. Beyond that point, however this restaurant needs some serious attention. We called ahead to check and see how busy the restaurant was before we walked in since we had heard that it was a nice place. Ashley answered and advised us that no booths were available, but there was no waiting as they had tables available. When we got there we were greeted and seated immediately. The waiter, Ross (I think) introduced himself and took our drink order. We reviewed the menu and we put in our orders. I put in an order for a ribeye medium, mushrooms, and baked potato. My wife put in for crab cakes and a potato. We then proceeded to wait for 45 minutes. The waiter brought us crackers and butter as we waited. Then he finally tells us that the chef just informed him that the crab cakes were no longer available due to a mishap in the kitchen a little while ago. No big deal we said. My wife then orders the sauteed scallops with veggies and rice pilaf. The manager came around after a another wait and asked if our meal had been good. We then advised him we had been waiting a long time for our food. He then goes to check on our food and eventually brings out our food himself. The waiter apologized for the long wait and the manager offered us free cake which I did take. Again, while the wait was far too long, it was still a fairly positive experience at this point. My wife's scallops however were under cooked as well as her rice. She had scallops that were cooked around the edges, but not cooked in the middle. I had ordered a ribeye and instead got a close to rare prime rib. The food in short was terrible. The prime rib had no flavor. This whole time, however, the manager acted more nonchalant about our experience and did not follow up after we had been served our meal. After being there for two hours, we arrived around 7pm and didn't leave until 8:50pm, we were highly disappointed with paying $60+ dollars for one of the worst meals we had. While the staff did some positive things it did not make up for the long wait and terrible food. I called after we had left to express this to the manager and to express my displeasure in our overall experience. I felt that it was poor management, not poor wait staff that was the main issue with the kitchen service etc. While he offered a discount, which we refused, he did not want to admit that this was not a good experience for us. I expressed that waiting hours for food, getting terrible food, and then paying $60+ dollars for said service was not a good experience for anyone experiencing it. The main reason I called was to make him aware of the issues so that he, as the manager, could prevent such issues in the future. I felt as if he were in denial about the whole thing though. We probably will not return.

I was a little disappointed with this restaurant. My husband and I went here for 6 year anniversary. The atmosphere is very nice so as soon as we walked in we were excited but that was the only thing from here on out. It took the waiter a while to great us and by the time he did we had our whole order ready. I was surprised they offer crackers and butter. My house salad had a pickle instead of a cucumber and covered in peas. I wish I would have known there were peas in my house salad I would have never ordered it. My 25 dollar sea food dish was unsatisfactory. It was mostly breading. My husband's 22 dollars steak dish was so under cooked it was red inside. Probably won't waste my money here again.

I give this place ZERO stars. My husband and I went here for our 1 year anniversary. We were excited because it's supposed to be a "high end" restaurant right, wrong. The $25 plate that I ordered was NOT what I was expecting. Everything on my plate was deep fried and covered in grease. I also ordered a baked potato with this plate, I ate the baked potato. After trying the deep fried foods I realized that it tasted as bad as it looked and asked if I could change it for something else. The manager said I could order something else but I would still have to pay for the first plate that I ordered. After everything was said and done we left. We payed for EVERYTHING and I didn't get to eat dinner. Never going back
