I started going here when I moved to South Philly a year and a half ago. Every time I've come into the shop, I'm greeted almost immediately and everyone is always incredibly friendly and helpful. I just had to bring my bike in for what I thought was just a flat tire. I showed up less than 15 minutes before closing, and it turned out I also needed new brake pads as well. Andrew, Tom and Brian went above and beyond my expectations to assist, staying well past closing time to make sure everything was fixed and in good shape on my bike. They also walked me through everything they were doing and steps I should be taking to prevent similar damage from happening again. I never felt (and never have on previous occasions) felt like anyone was trying to up-sell me on products. They are all educated and honest about prices and will offer alternatives if you don't want to spend more than absolutely necessary. Thanks for consistently surpassing expectations!

Had a very positive experience here fixing my back tire after a few unfortunate flats. Andrew helped me with a few tips to make things easier and also recommended a rim liner that turned out to be a great idea. Thanks!

Ever since moving to South Philly, Performance Bicycle has been my only choice for my bike repairs. They've fitted me with new brakes, new wheels, new chains, derailleurs, and basically everything short of a new bike! The fixes weren't always easy, but when they weren't they communicated well with me and were always willing to help me find a solution. Even after having moved up to Northern Liberties, I still take my bike here to get reliable repair jobs to keep me on the road. Thanks guys!

Very happy with my new bike. I ordered it through their website after speaking with a representative and deciding it was the bike for me. Prior to picking the bike up, I had called a few times to check if it had arrived, if it was ready, etc. Each phone call was extremely friendly and helpful.

When I went in to pick up the bike, the sales person and tech staff were extremely helpful. The sales person showed me all the accessories I asked about while the tech staff did a final inspection to show me that everything was put together correctly. I decided to buy a rack for the back of the bike and they installed it for me while I waited.
