TL;DR - our worst used car nightmare came true. Car turned out to be a lemon, and we're on the hook for payments for two more years. Giving you the warning I would have liked to have. Boyfriend and I purchased a car in October of last year. Had a great initial experience - sales people were very helpful in getting us help financing, taking our car as a trade-in, etc. We were very satisfied with the experience. However, less than a month later, our car began stalling, and eventually refusing to turn on. We had to have it towed in (at our expense), and Performance's service department looked it over (for free), told us they charged the battery, and that we shouldn't have any more issues. Maybe a week later, we had the exact same issue, and ended up stranded away from home. This time Performance paid to have the car towed in, replaced the battery for free, and we were told that we shouldn't have any more issues. But it kept happening. We contacted Performance and were basically told that they'd looked it over, had no idea what was wrong, and had done all they could do. We ended up taking it to our own mechanic, who eventually fixed the problem, at our expense. All of this less than a *month* after the car had been purchased. Since then, we've racked up thousands of dollars in repairs for a car we've had for LESS THAN A YEAR. Misfiring fuel injector, leaking oil pan, a hub bearing (I believe) that had been put on *upside down* and had to be fixed, and less than a month ago, we had to have the ENTIRE ENGINE replaced. And now, we seem to be experiencing transmission problems. This car is on the verge of falling apart, and we're on the hook for payments for this thing for two more years. It's a lemon, and Performance sold it to us and then left us out in the cold. This has been the worst car experience of our lives. There's NO WAY I could ever trust another car from this place, and I could never, ever recommend it to anyone else.

About the only positive thing I can say about this dealership is that they don't give up. About 3 years ago we let them talk us into leasing a Patriot. Last year they sent a "fishing" email suggesting that they wanted to buy it back as they had low used vehicle inventories. The person on the phone sounded very sincere and wanted to earn our business. My wife and I came in, wasted literally 2 hours of our evening. They kept giving us ridiculous "offers" that involved us paying them thousands of dollars in future payments left on our lease. I was very upset as our time is valuable, and they are the ones who approached us wanting to buy out the lease! Fast forward to 3 weeks ago. They send us multiple emails, and a letter stating that they had a "potential buyer" for our vehicle and that they were willing to pay more than the jeep is worth and really wanted to get our jeep! Against my judgement, I took the bait. I responded and next thing I know I have half a dozen salespeople leaving me emails, few phones calls, etc. They wanted me to bring it in for an appraisal. I told them from the get go, "Unless buying out my lease 100% of what I owe is an option, I am not interested in coming in again and wasting 2 hours of my time." So I came in today to hear them out. After figuring out a vehicle that my wife might like to drive, they offered me "more than my Jeep was worth" and still had me owing $1100 of leftover payments that would be tacked onto the new Jeep... I am not sure what part of "if you don't intend on buying out my lease 100% of what I owe, don't waste my time" is so hard to comprehend. Why would a sensible person pay $1100 in remaining payments on top of a new car?? Why wouldn't I just....I dunno...make the last 3 payments and then buy a new car? If I'm paying the "penalty" regardless I may as well utilize the remaining 3 months on our lease. What motivation do I have to turn in our vehicle early? They are the ones contacting me saying they want it! LOL....I don't get it. But it is very aggravating. So in the end, maybe I'm just a sucker. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Just be aware that if you go in there due to "fishing" emails or phone calls, you're probably going to be let down.
