Story

Welcome to Pet Planet Waterloo Westside Marketplace

The first Pet Planet store opened in 1996 and was founded on the principle of total pet health wellness through education. Through passion and innovation we have grown from one retail location to various locations across North America.

We are located in the Canadian Tire plaza on the corner of Erb and Ira needles. Located in between Erb Dental and HR Block.

I started working for Pet Planet in 2006. It didn't take long for me to completely fall in love with everything about Pet Planet. The care for animal nutrition and health, the education surrounding animal acquisition and guardianship, and the pride in helping people do the absolute best for their animal companions. In March 2010 I was granted a store of my own, and I couldn't be happier!

We used the dog wash station here, it was clean and very easy to use! There is a nice ramp for your pup to walk up into the tub and the tub is at an excellent height so your back doesn't ache after washing your pup! The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Our dog was especially happy to pick out a treat after his bath!

These guys really care about the quality of food your pet receives. All of the products here are healthy and non-filler. They definitely have my business for life.

They super great organic pet food and the staff is very helpful, only place I can go for cat litter as my cat is allergic to clay

We love coming to Pet Planet! Our cat has been very sick lately and we happened to go into Pet Planet to check out the types of cat food they have. Their staff (especially Casi) are very knowledgeable and friendly, and we drive across town just to get our cat food from here. Our cats love the food we purchase from Pet Planet, and we are able to order our particular brand of cat food ahead of time so it is always available when we go. Our cat has since recovered and we owe it to Pet Planet for recommending proper nutrition for our cats.
