The Pet Warehouse is the place to go in Jacksonville for pets and pet supplies. Our pet store offers many breeds of puppies and kittens, reptiles, birds, exotics, fish, rabbits and guinea pigs. Come by The Pet Warehouse today to see which pet is for you. With a second location, Pets-N-Stuff, in the Piney Green Shopping Center, we are able to offer you even more selections of pets and pet supplies.

Our pet shop is locally owned and operated. We have been in establishment since 1992 and we have twenty three years of combined experience in the field. Our passion is finding homes for pets and taking care of these pets with our collection of pet care supplies.

The only reason I go here is due to Rabbit food being $1.39 a pound. The quality of products is wonderful. The people however? Terrible. I've only ever had one or two good experiences, both with a young blonde girl who no longer seems to work there. There's one particular women who I believe should be fired. She's an older lady with black and grey hair. Bit of a jersey accent. Like I said, I buy rabbit food here on a biweekly basis. Every time I see her, I dread even "looking" suspicious. She has checked on me before, but not asking if I needed assistance, just checking on me. Because browsing must be unwelcome in a STORE! And I mean a few times within a 15 minute visit. I've highly considered getting a cat here at one point, and as I was holding him and walking around to see if he handled me well, another women, middle aged with black hair, always in a ponytail proceeded to tell me that if I wasn't buying the kitten I had to put him back or stay by the cage. Needless to say, she "checked in" on me a few times and her and the previous women mentioned, continued to eye myself and my husband until we walked out. You can't pressure people to purchase a 10+ year and life commitment without them being 100% sure they are in love. It's ridiculous to ask people to be sure they want a dog, cat or anything else breathing without even touching them or interacting with them. If I was surrounded by kittens and puppies, I'd love my job. The first woman has only been pleasant once out of 20+ visits. They could at least smile and welcome the shoppers.

I love this pet store. I have bought a kitten and a puppy from here and both have ended up being great. They are very sweet

We love this store. Only problem I have is with one of the employees. Other than that w have nothing bad to say.

If it was possible to give this place zero stars, I would have. The staff here is always extremely rude. They never offer help and always look angry. I purchased my first dog here 3 years ago and have come back numerous times with the intentions of getting another dog and I am always denied service. The place is disgusting with an awful stench throughout the whole store. There were crickets jumping all around in the dog cages and the cages obviously hadn't been cleaned recently because there was dog feces in all of them. I will not being coming here again!

I was looking for specific fishes(Pygmy Corydoras and Cherry shrimps) in Jacksonville but no one have them except here. Very various different fishes but not many live plants though. I will definitely visit again.
