This hospital has been providing care for all 4 of my Chihuahua's. They have performed spays, oral surgery and few other minor procedures that involved anesthesia for all of them. I appreciate all they have done for my dogs. The only downside of this place is that it's almost impossible to get them to answer their phones in a timely manner and the front desk isn't always on the same page as the back staff. The facility is pretty clean and the doctors are very nice! As far as the vet techs, some are experienced and others are interns. They have been very affordable for me based off of my income. I would recommend it this place due to wide range of services they provide as well as pricing.

The wonderful people of PetAid saved the life of my kitty. Period. After eating an entire shoelace (and over a foot of yarn - he's tenacious!), Lloyd needed emergency surgery, which was terrifying... both emotionally and financially. We were blessed enough to receive a referral to PetAid from the hospital we rushed him to after working hours, and even more blessed when the medical director saw that referral and approved him being seen early the next morning. When Noelle, who first met us, took Lloyd back and helped us during our whole ordeal, delivered crushing news about what xrays showed along with possible outcomes, she did so with kindness, a small hug, and a gentle but honest tone. She was the one to call me later that day to let me know Lloyd had made it through surgery and things were going well. She was also the one who helped us the following day when he was ready to come home, with solid post-operation instructions and needed supplies. This gracious person went one step further yet to come with me back to the front desk, with my kitty in tow, to be sure the bill was correct. The difference in pricing from the over-night hospital to PetAid's services was enough to make me want to cry, finally with happy tears. And the best part is that the care given was not sacrificed even remotely - I dare say it was better then we could have possibly hoped for! Lloyd is healing beautifully, meowing at the door convinced he's already ready to come out and play as we speak. He has made a miraculous recovery, no doubt due to the generous and animal-loving hands of all the great people running this special place for our furry little loved ones. I'm beyond grateful for the series of events that lead us to the healing and helping team over at PetAid!

I brought Rufus here be a useful money is a little more than tight at the moment. Rufus had already seen another vet who was nice enough to give us a recommendation to PetAid. I didn't know what to expect as Yelp had horrible reviews. People didn't seem to be happy with the service / prices here and I was apprehensive about the quality of care Rufus was about to receive. I'd made an appointment for a specific procedure and when I showed up the front desk employees didn't seem to have any record of it, which was quite annoying. They said they would see us - and they did - but it was about an hour later. While waiting a woman with a puppy said she'd never bring her pet there again, that PetAid had misled her which seemed to be the popular opinion over on Yelp. I have to assume she didn't understand the process because Rufus and didn't have a problem. A vet tech took us to an exam room and then had me wait while she took Rufus into 'the back'. I wasn't happy about him being beyond my line-of-sight and paced anxiously until the doctor came to see me about his situation. They didn't perform the procedure but rather they ran an entirely new exam with tests. When I asked why they said they couldn't perform the procedure they said it was policy to run their own tests first, which made sense. Everyone everywhere wants to run their own diagnosis. The prognosis wasn't good: lymphoma. The veterinarian gave me treatment options, answered all of my questions and seemed to be very concerned with both Rufus and myself. She followed up with us when she said she would and called in a prescription in a very appropriate amount of time. My only complaints are the lost reservation, Rufus being taken away from me and the exam room needed a good scrubbing (dust was everywhere). Would I return if needed? Definitely. Rufus doesn't have long left in this world so it may be a while before I return, but I will definitely keep PetAid in my contacts.

Terrible! Deserves Zero stars! I was referrred here by an excellent clinic that told me if I had a referral I could get half off of the surgery they recommended. My regular clinic performed blood work, urinalysis and X-rays in my kitty and found bladder stones and recommended surgery. They told me I could try to shrink the stones by giving her a different diet but that it was a lengthy process and the kitty would be in pain. Furthermore if the stones shrink they can get lodged in the urethra and be cause for emergency surgery. So, my trusted vet said surgery was the best option and sent in a referral for me. I called and scheduled the surgery with PetAid for the following Monday since they are not open on the weekends. We arrived at 215 for a 230 appointment. Filled out the paperwork at turned it in. It was 3pm before we were called back to be seen. Once in the office I have the tech the X-rays from my clinic and all documentation of her vaccines, blood work, urinalysis and the X-rays they revealed the stones. The tech told me to wait in the office and took kitty to the back room. 30 minutes later another tech came in. She then confirmed the kitty had stones from the X-ray which I already knew. She does on to recommend the food treatment instead of surgery. She tells me kitty will have to come back every month to see if the stones are shrinking. I explained that I understood the food treatment only works on one type of stone and that to determine the type the stones needed to be removed and sent to a lab. I explained further that with my work schedule I cannot bring her back once a month during the work day for examination and that I would like to proceed with the surgery I had scheduled for today. She left to speak to the medical director and came back 30 minutes later. She told me that since it was now 4 o clock they could not do the surgery. I explained i had been there on time for my appointment and that I’ve been waiting on them for now 1.5 hours. She then said they never do same day surgery. I explained to her this was schedule 4 days ago from a referral and all of her medical information had been provided and did not need to be performed again. They refused to do the surgery I had scheduled and took the day off for. I asked for them to bring my kitty back as I was not going to have them do blood work, urinalysis and X-rays that we’re done merely 5 days ago and records provided. She told me they hadn’t yet taken the cat out of the carrier and went to get her. She told me to check out at the front desk to pay the exam fee. I did not pay an exam fee and left the clinic because she told me they had not even removed the cat from the carrier the entire time we were there. If I receive a bill from this clinic I will be fighting it. This was a complete waste of time for me and added stress to an already sick kitty. I do not recommend receiving care here!! They may offer low cost services but they want to add in services that were not schedule for reasons they cannot explain.

These guys are awesome. They base the cost on your income & although it's not free, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a regular vet. We saw a 4th year very student from CSU who was very knowledgeable and conferred with a licensed veterinarian before coming up with a plan for my neurotic kitty. The were able to get a blood draw & a urine specimen without any sedation & were so gentle that kitty didn't stop purring. I'm very happy they are available to folks who aren't rich but have pets who need care. Thank you!
