Their pet supplies, treats, pet food, bedding, ect. are more expensive than Petsmart. They carry some items that you can't find anywhere else though. Their Fish, on the other hand, tend to cost less than Petsmart. They also carry saltwater Fish whereas Petsmart does not. Pet friendly. Bring your pets shopping with you.

I'm not sure if we went on an a bad day or what, but the fish tanks were filthy. The small mammals and reptiles looked very good... it was just algae city in the fishtanks. Blech. The fish all had white spots on them and did not look super healthy. I would not be comfortable buying a fish here.

Overall, it's a typical petco with the usual petco merchandise. It's reasonably priced, and they have a.nice selection of cheap.dog toys if your dog, like mine, destroys things in the first five minutes. They did have a few rescue cats available for adoption, and had a toy that you could play with the cats in their cage. So that was kind of cool.

I normally shop at petsmart but Petco is not a bad place. They have all the necessities but it always seems to only have 2 people working.

Huge selection. Way more than Fairview heights location. Just picked up a Steppe Runner lizard!
