First grooming experience was great. Loved the groomer and she did a wonderful job. Can’t say the same about the second visit. If I could give a negative star I would. My dog looked absolutely horrific. His face wasn’t blended in and it was all choppy, he had long lines around his legs where he was cut too short, and to top it all off, he got a yeast infection from water in his ears. We took him in on Sunday, and by Monday evening his ears were full of junk and oozing. He was in horrific pain and didn’t want to be touched. I called and spoke to an “assistant manager” and explained the situation, and how I was so disappointed and upset. He promised the store manager would be in touch the next day. Never heard a word from anyone and even tried to leave another message. $248 later,l have a dog with a yeast infection in both ears and his coat looks terrible. Do not go to this store!!!

I was super upset and heartbroken when I saw the beta fish in plastic tupperware with only a few inches to 'swim'. I realize they cause harm to each other if put together, but you can separate them in tanks. A little bit more effort with make your business better, and customers will be happy- as well as the fish! If you were a business that cared about fish, tanks would be visible. As the other pets  appeared to be well taken care of, the fish make this an upsetting place to be. Please improve your fish care. Until then, my business will be elsewhere.

Great store. Staff is generally very helpful. The dog trainer is amazing, and the grooming staff has always been good with my dog.

Very rude customer service. I came a little early than opening time and the girl who came up to me didn't even try to be polite. She gave me the impression that customers aren't valued. I asked her, politely, if I could just take a look at what I needed to buy, that I won't touch anything until 9 am when the store opens. She said, "No, you need to leave. Someone must not have locked the door." Not even a 'I'm sorry, we're still getting ready. Please wait for 10 minutes." I was appalled at how impolite this girl was. Even though I understood what she was trying to say, she could have said it in a courteous way. The only reason I decided to come back to shop here when I usually shop for pet food somewhere else is because I bought a cat scratching pad from here and our cat loves it, so I figured I'd like to make this place my regular shopping stop for my pet's needs. No. I was talked to like I had no business to shop there. She was blonde, had a ponytail, and worked on the morning on July 3rd. Petco, please teach your employees ways to communicate with customers that actually makes them want to come back. Especially when online pet supply ordering and delivery is becoming more common.

The fish people actually care about the fish here and take care of them.....complete opposite of petsmart.  Wish petsmart would hire a specific fish person like petco has.
