I love this place, I’ve always came here for my dogs treats and toys. However, today as I was walking up to pay I was stopped by a glimpse of the groomer literally pulling a little shih zu arm nearly out of socket then followed by her pulling the leash tighter on his neck and forcing his head down. He look absolutely terrified and the cashier knows what I’ve seen because I stopped and couldn’t move from witnessing such a thing. It’s disgusting. So now I’m currently waiting outside of petco to inform the owners of what this groomer has done.

Stay away from here! They are not very friendly or knowledgeable. They do not always honor their return policy. The employees are sometimes sloppy in the work they do. The managers are not friendly at all. Many times you'll see dead fish floating in the tanks. Probably because they over stock the tanks and stress the fish.

I generally like the Grooming team, but last time I was there one of the newer girls attempted to drag my dog towards her by the leash, which I didn't like her doing at all. Plus she was a bit to quick and careless with cutting the claws, twisting the dog's paws at odd angles and generally making my dog uncomfortable and nervous. I really miss Justin, he was great. Sad he's gone. I'll probably take my dog somewhere else in the future for grooming...

Employees show no understanding of caring for reptiles. Employee was rough with a lizard I wanted to see, and tried grabbing it by the tail, which is dangerous for geckos. Also the lizard tanks were carpeted with sand which is dangerous because lizards will eat it and develop intestinal blockages. They keep 10 (very emaciated) geckos in a 10 gallon tank. If you're looking for reptiles, go to Exotic Tropicals. Go local.
