The experience at this Petco revolves completely around who is working. Half of the managers refuse to honor their price matching policies, or change their opinions on the matter every other day, and they other half will usually actually take care of you. If you deal with a competent employee, and a manager who actually understands their own company policies (and you don't have to walk outside and read the sign to them), then you'll probably have a good shopping experience with a fairly minimal wait and good prices, if you go in on a day that a bunch of angry old ladies are working, you might as well go home. They used to have a pretty great staff, with the exception of a manager named April, who was bizarrely bi-polar in her treatment of customers (all smiles one trip, rude and difficult the next), and now most of their staff has been cycled to new people. These newbies don't really seem *bad*, but most of them only seem to understand their own areas of the store, and this makes wait times in this Petco an unhinged disaster, what's left of the hourly staff from the store's earlier time in Greenwood appears to be a couple older ladies who always seem like they'd rather be anywhere else when you're dealing with them. I used to shop here all the time, I was a regular and spent an unholy amount of money in this Petco, (something to the tune of $100-$300 a month), but have mostly stopped shopping here. Their prices are honestly just not competitive, except on a few items, and since they almost never honor their own price matching policy without excessive hassle, it's become a chore to shop here. I dealt with a wonderful employee (Whitney, I believe her name was), when I shopped here for a snake just before Christmas, but I honestly wouldn't have even stepped foot into this Petco if I'd had time to look elsewhere, so it really is time the management of this store stepped up and understood that the way they treat people, and consistency of their policy honoring makes a difference. Almost everything they sell can be found on Amazon for half the price, so the only way to keep recurring business among savvy shoppers is to make their experience great -- or at least consistently tolerable.

The grooming staff is great! They do a fantastic job on my dogs and the pups are always happy to see the groomers!

Sell's associate new a lot about saltwater fish. Was very helpful. He new what I could and what I couldn't put in my tank.
