I visited this store 3 days ago and I was met with several knowledgeable, helpful employees that answered my questions in regard to quality dog food and training for my newly adopted whippet. A week or two earlier, my daughter adopted a beautiful guinea pig from here. The young lady was very kind and helpful to my daughter. That being said, this is a Very clean store that is well stocked with everything you could need. Will visit again soon.

The food I purchased had spider webs and maggots on the outside of the bag. 2nd time I have seen this in this store. I reported the first time i saw this and nothing changed. I am going to stop shopping here and recommend to friends the same if it isn't cleaned up. How can they charge $50+ for a bag of food and have conditions in the store like this? I would return the bag of food that I have if it weren't for needing to change my dogs food gradually to another brand.

This PetSmart is OK. I've had both good and bad experiences here, but can safely say a few things: 1) Just... don't buy crickets here. Every time I've tried half of them are dead, at least, and I've seen entire bags of them pre-bagged and dead just sitting out waiting for people to buy. They also count Every. SINGLE. ONE. Maybe this *is* how it's supposed to be done but when you're buying 30-40 medium or small crickets, and the girl shaking them into the bag one-by-one has to recount them twice to make sure you didn't get *ONE* BUG less or more, it's just incredibly time consuming and enough to put you off the deep end. and 2) If you're going to shop at this PetSmart, you should buy things you know about and how to find, as all the employees, nice as they are, are typically tied up on registers and not available to advise you. The managers, when you can find them, are knowledgable, so if you DO need something, you're better off talking to one of them, as all the ones I've talked to are super friendly and know what they are talking about, whereas most of the hourly staff are... *probably* certified in the areas you're discussing, but are rarely, if ever, to be found in said area.

I used to work at both Petco and PetSmart and PetSmart is definitely the best way to go! The groomers go to a actual academy, then have to come back and intern under the manager, unlike Petco, where the groomers are just taught the basics by another groomer then left alone. At PetSmart, the whole staff is trained in different departments and continue training throughout their career. Neither place has a ton of employees, but PetSmart employees are definitely more knowledgeable and friendly! When I worked at Petco, most of the time a groomer had to come out and run register, which is probably why the dogs were never done on time and didn't look that great cause they had to be rushed. Basically, from experiencing both places through a customer and employee standpoint, I will always go back to PetSmart. They're awesome.

Love the selection, variety, ect.... buts it's pricey here!!!
