Wife found this spot from a post on social media. Absolutely phenomenal! Only thing missing was seating cause we would come for dinner and lunch. Came down to see what it was all about and try a pastrami sandwich. Person behind counter talked us into splitting a Cuban. I am not the biggest fan of Cuban sandwiches but my wife is. Well my opinion changed. Awesome flavor, all the meat was tender, pickles crunchy, dressing full of flavor, top 10 in sandwiches I have had. Ofcourse we walked out with a bunch of other appetizing treats for our family to try. True test will be their pulled pork next time. I believe everything is cooked on premise which is most likely why it is so good. Great fresh meat, pork and pre-made selection too.
Has more than just meat! Lobster rolls and pickles are just a few other things. The employee working was very pleasant. Has plenty of outside seating.
My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a while after stumbling across the establishment online. We ordered two different sandwiches for pickup. When I walked in I was greeted by two employees. I only had to wait a few minutes for the order I placed online. The staff was so friendly and personable. As I looked in the cases, I could tell the quality of meat was very high. I teach cooking in a high school a few towns over. We both really enjoyed our food, but that prime steak sandwich was next level. We will definitely be back.
We were working in the area and this fantastic smell was in the air. I looked around, but could not figure out where it was coming from. A gentleman happened to walk by and I asked if he knew where it was coming from and it happened to be an employee of this establishment. He pointed us in the right right direction and I assured him he will be getting our business very shortly. We went there and was warmly greeted by Genesis. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was AMAZING!! The whole experience was great and I highly recommend them. I will certainly be back.
My husband and I love Pete's Meats! We often visit to pick out steaks, sausage, and chicken burgers for dinner, and end up picking up other unexpected delicious looking meats! We love the sides, too, like loaded baked potatoes and brussel sprouts. This summer we had Pete's Meats cater two backyard parties, and our guests loved the food. The ribs and cheese steak sliders were huge hits!
Working in the area, smelled something amazing. Walked in and was met by Genesis which told me that the smell was them smoking food. Gave her recommendation on the pulled pork or ribs since that was what I was smelling. Tried the pulled pork sandwich and was not disappointed. Great flavor rich Smokey flavor. Will definitely come back again, even if not working in the area.
This place is truly a one of a kind place these days. I can't think of a single other place where you can get food at truly professional out of of this world quality for such a fair price. Its so rare to find food these days that truly blows your mind every time and doesn't blow up your wallet. I never have time to cook during the week because I work long hours. I always just want a homemade meal when I come home and Pete's is really the only place I've ever encountered that delivers that. It's food that just puts you in a damn good mood after you eat it. The beef is NYC Steakhouse quality.....all the meats are frankly. Their heat up food is better than high end $100 a person resturant quality, seriously. The staff is outstanding and super friendly. Pete's Meat is truly a gem.
First time there. The place was spotlessly clean and the guys behind the counter were very friendly. The food was outrageously good! My husband had a steak and mushroom sandwich and I had the chicken tenders. Can't wait to go back.Food: 5/5
A friend of mine told me about this place, so I stopped in today for the first time to check it out & I also ordered a cheeseburger to go. Not only was the cheeseburger awesome, but the 2 men on staff were super friendly & helpful! I was asking the one man a few questions about the different cuts of beef on display in the case & he was so kind & patient, as he took the time to give me info for all my questions sorry, didn't get his name for my post, but he was really nice! Everything looked so top quality & I'm def signing on to your email list for future purchases!
Pete's Meats & Grill is a great restaurant that not only produces amazing dine-in and take-out but they also support local sports and the community. I highly recommend Pete's and thank them for their generous support!
