Great place to camp with beautiful views of the river. Docks & bridges for pretty good fishing. The views of large old trees with hanging moss everywhere & mature cypress trees from the ponds are gorgeous. Like you've stepped into a southern secret. We couldn't get the antenna to pick up t.v. & cell service was if-y. If you want to get a better spot than when u check in, the staff is not helpful. They can be rigid, but the place is run smoothly. There is a very, very quiet atmosphere. With over 200 hookups this is rare. The showers/bathrooms are good not great. The surrounding stores formerly consisted of a couple gas stations. But, there is a new Dollar General going up now. I suggest booking a full hookup sight in advance with views of both the ponds & river.

Beautiful campground. Very scenic. Lots of wildlife. Right on the Tennessee/Tombigbee Waterway. Lots of boat, barge traffic to see. Bathhouse/laundry rooms, playground and basketball courts , picnic pavilions available.

Contains 176 sites, boat ramp, restrooms, laundry facilities, picnic shelter and nature trails. Two-lane boat ramp and 75 parking spaces.
