Located on beautiful, pristine Lewis Smith Lake in Northwest Alabama, Hidden Cove RV Resort offers a wonderful, family-friendly, lakefront getaway with first class amenities.
Bring your RV, or stay in one of our cozy rental units. Relax by our inviting pool or bring your boat. Smith Lake is world-famous for its fishing, and perfect for water sports, too. Hidden Cove has a fishing pier and dockhouse for indoor fishing. We also have a boat ramp and boat slips for your convenience. Several local boat rental businesses and lake/fishing guide services are available nearby.
At Hidden Cove, you can enjoy the large, lakefront clubhouse with a recreation room and television lounge. There are plenty of places to explore along our ¾-mile shoreline, and our winding roads are perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. We have a small lending library of movies and books, and we also provide mini-golf, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and other recreational equipment at no additional charge.
Or you could just sit back and take in the gorgeous lake view, have a picnic, or simply relax on the observation deck overlooking the lake.
Holiday activities include horseshoes tournaments, kids games, ice-cream socials, movie nights, pot-luck dinners, and other planned activities.
There are many local attractions and points of interest in the area. Don’t miss Ave Maria Grotto, Natural Bridge, Clarkson Covered Bridge, and the Crooked Creek Civil War Museum, just to name a few.
Smith Lake impounds approximately 21,000 acres and has over 500 miles of shoreline, primarily in Cullman and Winston counties. It is a deep, clear lake with dozens of different feeder streams, winding bays and sloughs. Steep bluffs cradle much of the lake, with water depths dropping to more than 300 feet.
