I stayed up on the mountain sites. Beautiful view, and lots (and i mean lots) of room for my dog to run. One of the very best RV parks i have ever stayed in.

We drive all the way from Oregon to Florida and stayed at a lot of RV parks on our way to Florida. We are on our way back to Oregon and decided to stay at this park rather than one in Birmingham. That was a huge mistake. Getting up the hill to the office we had to put our truck in 4 wheel drive not because the road was muddy but because it was so bad. There are big signs up that said quiet after 10pm. No exceptions. That sign must have meant to be as noisy as you can possibly be after 10. Sounded like a major party at about 1 am and a lot of loud vehicles going much faster than 10mph (designated speed) through the parking lot all night throwing gravel. When I called to get directions I was given wrong directions. If it weren't for the fact that we had already driven a long way we would gave found another campground. DON'T STAY HERE

Not on a main road but on a wash out road.No one at office and you had to pay with cash. Good Sam's should take back there reference on this place

It's a broken down dump, a poor excuse of a campground.

We were traveling through and needs a place to stay. The campground guide indicated that this was a Good Sam campground so we thought it would have certain standards. After negotiating the rather treacherous road to the office at the top of a hill. We questioned if they had WI FI and were told that a little cousin cut the line and they didn't have it running. The rate quoted was $36.00 with my Good Sam Discount. For this kind of campground the price was ridiculous. The sites we saw when we drove in were grass and overgrown. I don't know what other amenities they have to offer the public but didn't see much. Really surprised that this is still listed as a Good Sam park, but I guess this is the only park in Jasper. . We refused to stay here but instead drove another 45 miles to stay in a Corp of Engineers park which was much nicer with concrete pads, water, electric etc. I would hope others would take heed of this warning.
