Absolutely MASSIVE sandwiches. Pickle Barrel has got some of the biggest hot subs in the valley, just wish that they had a little more variety on the menu. And of course, the sandwiches come with a pickle.
The half cheesesteak was excellent and crazy big. It's essentially two large sandwiches. The photo is only half of what I got. Super yummy.
Wish I came to this place earlier! Amazing sandwiches and when you walk in, if you're not hungry you will be! Fresh baked bread smells so good and makes your mouth water! Beautiful open layout you feel free and spacious. Cool counters or normal tables. Love that as sometimes you don't want to sit at a table. Owner was super friendly and passionate about his amazing business. Thanks!
Heard so many good things about this place. So after the 3rd person who mention it to me, I had to try it. I got a big sky special. Super yummy, and it was a big sandwich. I just wish they had avocado. Other then that they are so worth it. So stop by, and try it yourself if your in the area.
Great little shop with large Delicious sandwiches. The team was very helpful and you don't need a mask to order. You pick up your food at the window on the left side of the building in the summer. You can get thier menu online or in a board out front. But our AdventureKrewe pro tip: is to order the cheese steak or the blue streak. Both were great and one 18" sandwich will feed two of you for lunch. You might 1 for dinner after a hard day at work. Also tip the folks that are working well. They were short staffed so let's get back to work America nobody is going to take of you if you can't help yourself.
Love this place. It deserves a 5 star rating any day of the week, but I drove off the interstate to order sandwiches and nothing was on the internet about a staff softball game or picnic or whatever. I got no sandwiches because it was closed. I nearly cried. Love these sandwiches. Love this business, but let a girl know if you're going to be closed online too please and thank you!
The sandwiches were great, my only issue was the cost for what you get. I'm from Charleston South Carolina and maybe it's a Montana thing but I spent $10 for a sandwich that wasn't very filling. Back home for $10 worth of sandwich you will get overly full. With that said it was delicious and was a cool little spot in Bozeman.
Great Phillis, they offer Phillis and cold cuts. Very friendly staff. The building is very small that being said if it’s kinda busy you have to wait outside for your order. I’m not sure about we’re exactly to park, but all of it is worth it for the food. I recently visited the Pickle Barrel restaurant and unfortunately had a very unusual and unsettling experience. The food itself was fine, but I ended up almost getting into a physical altercation with a midget over my pickle and chicken tenders. I was enjoying my meal when a midget approached me and demanded that I give them my pickle and chicken tenders. I was taken aback and tried to reason with them, but they became increasingly aggressive and threatening. I ended up having to defend myself and ultimately ended up leaving the restaurant feeling shaken and uncomfortable. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of security and control at the Pickle Barrel. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the risk of confrontations with disruptive and aggressive individuals. It's important for restaurants to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for their customers, and in this case, the Pickle Barrel failed to do so.
Update: Pickle Barrel is tops and is addressing the meat issue. It's been a couple of years since I went to the pickle barrel but my memory was of a giant tasty sandwich overflowing with meat mushrooms and onions. That's why I didn't mind paying the kind of high price for the sandwich. I got one yesterday and was a bit disappointed and it seems like you have cut back on meat. It was delicious! However you need to restore the meat to the sandwich before you lose your reputation...
